the crossbow??

hi everyone. i see that some of you have bought the bowflex!! wow, they are expensive! has anyone tried the crossbow by weider??? i'm afraid because i'm a true believer that you get what you pay for, and the crossbow is 499.99!! i need heavier equip for lower body workouts, and this good because it has alot for upper too. thanks alot for your help.

I was in the same deliema as you and was looking at the crossbow. I did see check one out at Sears department store and they are very cheaply made. The bars are like some sort of plastic. I did splurge for the bowflex. I know they are expensive. I just got mine this week. But I am starting to like it in addition to Cathe. Just my thoughts.
