The contest I just started for my department

I just won a drawing at work and the prize was a 3 month membership to a fitness center. I don't like working out at fitness centers because I don't like adding time away from my daughter and I also don't enjoy working out with strangers.

So I sent an email out to the department that whoever was the first to guess who my favorite superhero is will win the membership.

The answer is Batman. And I can't believe no one has guessed that. I mean - that would be the first answer out of my mouth if someone asked me to guess who THEIRS is. I mean...come on...would you really guess The Green Hornet before Batman? I don't even know what The Green Hornet's super powers are!

Wolverine, from The X-Men, is a close second - but I know nobody would guess that. There are too many women in this department. My mom was the only other woman I knew who knew her superheroes.

That is so nice of you! I want to work for either you or Maximus! I know my superheroes and my wrestlers (I have three boys)!

You have a point there, Donna. But he sure looked Hunky when he caught Lois as she was falling from the helicopter perched precariously atop the building. He told her "don't worry, I've got you." Lois remarked, "You've got me! Who's got you?"

Marla

I know, I know. Don't laugh!:p :)

i am not superhero savy! i never would have guessed that either! the only two i can name are superman and the incredible hulk:eek:

From one Donna to another,
I would have to lean toward Batman with you on this one. The dark and mysterious is great - add to that: slick car, amazing mansion with butler, he's rich, and in his "day persona" he's sophisticated, intelligent, well-mannered, well-intentioned, well-mannered, good looking, even has a sexy, gravelly voice. All that wrapped up in a sexy black leather suit? Hmm - He's the perfect man!!!

>Yeah, except his costume was made up of a prosthetic chest &
>abs. :7

You guys are cracking me up!:7

That's ARMOR Maximus. Batman is only a man. Unlike Superman and Spiderman, he has no superpowers. Only his nifty gadgets and expert training in martial arts.

If my husband would go out and get himself a Batman costume, well he'd be getting a lot more action at home I can tell you.:)

Technically, I don't know if "Batman" qualifies as a SUPERhero, does he? What super powers does he have? He isn't a mutant, or from another planet. He uses technology.

Now, the members of the Legion of Superheroes (Superman, but also Saturn Girl--who has psychic powers, Duplicate Girl--who can split in two and used to be Triplicate Girl before her third self was killed, Chameleon Boy--who can change shape, Bouncing Boy ---who has kind of a lame power of being able to turn himself into a kind of giant ball-shaped guy, and many more; THOSE are cool superheroes).

(And whatever happened to the MetalMen? I lost track of them when they got human-looking skins.)

They probably haven't guessed Batman because it's too obvious a choice and they figured if you were having a contest, the answer must be super hard.

I personally love Captain Underpants.:p

Yes, there was a winner. But she just kept guessing until she got it.

I couldn't make it too hard with that trivia questions because Batman is my favorite, and it would be cheating to lie.:)
