Yes I am definitely a pear shaped gal. I make sure to keep Cathe's leg tapes (L&G's, LL, PLB) somewhere in my rotations no matter what. That "after" photo was taken following a rotation where I worked upper body with S&H and put one or two leg tapes and some intense interval cardio (Imaxs, running or KPC) in the mix. Kickboxing, running and interval training seems to help slim down my thighs and butt a LOT!
No matter what rotation I do, pushing myself with each workout seemed to really bring the results I was looking for...jumping higher during the Imaxs, adding sprints to my running and upping the weights did wonders. And...although I'm loathe to admit it, healthy eating is essential for me to see lower body results.
As far as abs...I try to do the real tough Cathe stuff a few times a week. I'm especially fond of ALL the ab work in the Intensity Series (BC, PUB and C&W core work ROCKS!) as well as the ab/plank work in CTX. I think Cathe's ab work is especially amazing. I can really feel it working in every core muscle, especially when I really concentrate. I can hardly stand the wait to see what she comes up with for the Hardcore series!
