I've taken your advice and lowered the step, and I also stopped using weights w/lunges, and I don't lunge down as far either, and do less reps. I'm careful with the power step moves too. My knees feel much better, but now I'm worried that I'm not working out hard enough to lose weight! But I'll work my way back to shape, maybe it will just take longer than I'd originally planned. Thanks for your suggestions!
