Just wanted to thank you all who have responded to my messages with DVD recommendations, rotations, and weight info. I am loving my Cathe DVD's and can't wait until I can make my next purchase!!

This site has been so helpful. I absolutely LOVE Cathe's style and love her no nonsense approach. I've been doing Kathy Smith tapes prior and there is just no comparison in intensity!! Even Cathe's warm up's are right to the point!! I'm loving my DVD's!! You gals are the greatest!!

Again, I appreciate all your advice. thanks for turning me on to Cathe's tapes!!

I started with the Rhythmic Step DVD and the Power Hour DVD. So far, I've done MIC: the hi/low portion only (UGH!! almost killed me!! : ) I've done MIS, but so far I've left off the leg/butt portion, so I only have worked the upper body. I've done that one twice and I LOVE IT!! I did Rhythmic Step for the first time this morning and I really have to work into that one. Instead of attempting all three segments, I did the first segment twice in an effort to get that segment down before attempting the next one. It will DEFINITELY take me a few times doing that before I get even that segment right!! But, I know that I will enjoy the whole thing once I get it and don't mind learning it step by step!!

The DVD's also include Power Hour, Body Max and IMax which I haven't attempted yet. I really want to work in some interval training into my rotation, so am tempted to try IMax!! I figure that is another one I will take slow and add on as I can.

All-in-all, I'm so happy to have found Cathe and this forum!!

Thanks!!!

Mary

All great purchases! Of all Cathe's step tapes, Rhythmic Step took me the longest to learn even after I had been doing her other step tapes for over a year so dont give up! The step portion from MIC is pretty easy to learn as is the choreography of Interval Max. If I were you I'd jump right in and give Interval Max a try b/c it is so easy to modify! I still cant do that one without modifications! Let me know what you think of Power Hour, that is one of my absolute favorite workouts.

PH is very good! S&H !!! CMax is awesome and I love Power circuit from CTX! This is my 4th week on PS and it's another winner. I get real tired ... not sore but dead tired after her split routines. S&H used to put me into deep sleep right after. Her workouts rule!

Stacy: I did Powerhour for the first time today and I loved it. I couldn't believe how trembly I got!!! Really worked my arms. It was a shock for my body, I'm sure, but a much needed shock. FIRM tapes seem easy after doing Powerhour and MIS!!

I'm going to start a rotation that I saw in VOLUME 4 of the rotations when I get back from vacation (I have next week off and we will be at a lake most of the week). Next week I will have to walk, run, or swim for my cardio. I may bring some weights with me so I can do some lifting while I'm gone. I'm worried that if I don't, my muscles won't be able to handle the workouts when I get back.

I wish I could do my step tapes while I'm gone, but we will be in a camp with no tv/vcr! Sooooo, I'm on my own. I will look forward to coming back and working out again with Cathe!!

Hi, Mary!

I would leave the weights at home! One week won't make a difference, and you'll be ready to rock when you get back! Do a little cardio but enjoy your vacation--remember the rest part is important, too! :)
