I'm mostly a lurker here, but a dedicated, long-time Cathe fan.
I wanted to drop a note to say THANK YOU to Lunacat, Annette Aquajock, and LainieFig for developing, maintaining, and posting the Cathe Compendium.
Briefly - I was working too much OT, and had to cut out workouts because it just gave me too much stress to work out every day and go to work and do everything else in my life. Well, 8 months went by - I gained weight, lost muscle tone, and generally felt blah - tired, etc. I knew I needed to get back to working out, but I'm a much better early morning workout person than an after work workout person, and I don't have the stamina to get up earlier than 5:00 a.m.
Well, by using the Cathe Compendium, I can get a great 30 - 40 minute workout. I can find the type of workout I need, the equipment I will need (so I can set it up the night before), and how long the workout will be - I've been using the premixes.
Many of Cathe's DVD's don't give the times for the premixes, but the Cathe Compendium does! There was an incredible amount of work that went into that document - someone actually sat there and timed all the premixes and recorded that information, as well as added an incredible amount of other stuff that really comes in handy. What a blessing!
I'm now able to get a workout in before I go to work. My energy levels are returning and I feel better (although I'm still too fat and still don't have my muscles back - but I will get them), and I can work toward longer workouts without killing myself trying to complete a DVD as it was originally filmed.
For those who haven't checked out this fabulous document, you can find it on LainieFig's website: http://fitfig.com/.
Again - a great big THANK YOU to Lunacat, Aquajock, and LainieFig for this fabulous document - you've saved me!
