Good Morning!

Today was SIM:

SIM
month 2 week 2 day 4

warm up:
tired of the assigned warmups so I did my own:
2 min. straight: swings with the 25#kb:
30 seconds 2 handed, 30 seconds h2h, then repeat

SIM first 2 rounds: 1/2 snatch (25#)
bb get up sit up 35#: did 4 today:D!!
alternate clean and dip:2 20#kb
total pushups: 64!!
15 seconds rest between exercises


added:
**pullups: 8

NOTES:
*
long cycle bottom up jerk is a bitch!:mad: glad that's over this week
*3rd round: did 16 snatches in 45 seconds with one arm!:)
*wanted to swing Bertha (30 on/ 30 off) but ran out of time.:mad: will have to pick that up again next week.

I'm off today, have lots of errands to run, since the boys are in school!! Have to be home by noon to cook my brisket for my men;) tonight.

I'll try to bbl, we are going to New Jersey tomorrow for the holiday, not sure I will have time to post tomorrow, so Have a great weekend!!:):)

 
Good morning!

Sorry to be MIA yesterday. I hiked Mt Mansfield with some friends from work. I think we picked the most difficult route to the top, lots of scrambling up steep rocks. The trail was only 1.5 miles long, but it took us a good 2 hours. We then had a wine and cheese party at the top. Fortunately, we were able to take an alternate route down. :)

I did PTTP Wednesday night and then tried to actually snatch a barbell. I had some success with it, but need a lot of work. It's definitely a technical skill.

I don't know if I'll make it to the gym tonight. My upper back is giving me some grief (probably due to painting cielings and trying to snatch). I think my chiro had a workout this morning trying to adjust it.

Deanie - Great workout today! Have a good holiday tomorrow! I like the dress you ended up getting. :)

Rhonda - Hope your asthma is getting better.

Jane - Nice workout yesterday. I hope the rain lets up for you.

Good Afternoon!

I did Tracy Mallett's Renew You Sleek & Lean today (first time). It was a fusion workout consisting of:

Seated warmup on a chair (I did it on the ball) - stretches
Ballet Bar
Power Yoga
Abs & Buns - toughest segment; ab work was tough - lots of teasers (boat); good pretzel segment
Upper Body Sculpt and cooldown.

Rhonda - When the weather gets colder, my asthma usually acts up. Maybe the rain did have something to do with it. When my asthma was bad (before I moved), I would use my inhaler before working out and I was fine.

Jane - Great workout but I hate jumpropes!

Gayle - Sounds like a great hike!

Deanie - Happy New Year! Great workout! WTG on the bbl get up sit up!

Tonight I did Cathe's HSC. I haven't done that workout in a long time. It was fun!
