TEXAS Party 1 Month Away! Check in Please!

Due to the creepy "lurker" as he calls himself, some of the ladies attending this GIRLS NIGHT OUT (since slumber party wasn't clear enough) feel unsafe and uncomfortable that our plans have been so public. Therefore, we have opted to change them. For Pinky and others who are still tentative, please email myself or Nadine for the details on when and where. It was negligent of us to post our plans and personal info publicly and we will know better next time.

Okay, that was completely out of line. This is ridiculous. If you have a problem, then deal with it privately. This is not the place to be posting personal insults.

You're in your fifties, for pity's sake. Act like it.

Let me educate you, a Lurker in the Chat world means: someone that reads the post but make few comments. BROTHER!
 
I've been offline for a couple of days taking care of some personal stuff. If my post offended anyone, I would have preferred that person to contact me privately.

I apologized because I felt I was letting down the rest of the Texas party attendees. I'm fairly new to Cathe, and to posting on this type of board in general. I was really looking forward to meeting some of the ladies here who inspired me to get started and keep going. Sometimes, I am guilty of skimming posts when I am busy, which I did in the case of the January Texas party thread. Re-reading it, it seems like it was intended to be a ladies only event all along.

If I'd gotten it right the first time, I'd have no trouble coming up to the big "D" solo. Looking back, it seems like more fun anyway. But I don't feel right telling my husband, "You're invited" then turning around and saying "Whoops, no you're not but I'm going anyway". That would make him feel pretty sh!tty. I'm very sensitive to that.
