Hello,

Does anyone know of a way to temporary brighten highlighted hair in between salon visits. I have my hair partially highlighted every 6 weeks, but its begining to get someone expensive $160. I would like to extended for at least two weeks longer without feeling faded. Hope to hear from profesional hair stylist!

Rinse with honey. I put one tablespoon of honey in warm water and rinse it through my hair in the shower. It brightens up my highlights.

There is (was?) a shampoo and conditioner called "blond bombshell" (I can't remember who made it anymore) that might help. I'm not a blond, but I used it on my hair and it seemed to brighten it a bit. I haven't been able to find it for a while, though, so maybe they (whoever the 'they' that I can't remember is!) don't make it anymore?

Not a hairstylist, sorry, but I love John Frieda's clear glaze treatment. He also has it in brunette and red, but I think for multi tonal color the clear would be best!
