Tell me about the Rythmic Step-Imax-MIC DVD

I think I want to try Rythmic Step. All that fancy complexity sounds right up my alley. But I already have Imax 1 and MIC on VHS. Is there something so wonderful about the DVD that will convince me to buy it... because otherwise, I'll have to pay the full price for 3 routines, when I only want one.

I like to add on just the hi/lo portion or step portion of MIC to other workouts and this, of course, is much easier with a DVD.

I also do that with the various segments of Rhythmic Step. I particularly enjoy the first segment and the challenge at the end!

Hi Shannon:

Each individual workout on this DVD is chaptered, but there are no premixes for any of them individually or together (like there is on the BB and later series). I would think you could get by without the DVD, unless your VHS are so old that you might have to replace them soon anyway.

The problem is, the DVD is the only way I can get Rythmic Step now.
 
Oh, I didn't realize that! RS is my favorite step only workout, and now that Kara mentions it, I did the MIC hi/lo only portion just this morning. There goes $50! ;-) }(
 
You MUST have this DVD.

Why? Because:

a) Rhythmic Step is worth the $50 on its own
b) the mish mosh potential with MIC alone is invaluable
c) I said so;)
 
Well, let me tell you about this DVD. It's round. And kind of flat. And it has a hole in the middle. Seriously though, RS is one of my favorite workouts. Plus, you'll want to be changing over to all DVD's at some point in time, right? That's my excuse for buying DVD's that have workouts I already own on video.

Robin, I've kind of been thinking that way myself... kind of. But I'm cheap. I'm a tightwad. $50???????

But then, Shelley said I have to get it, so.....
 
Why don't you see if you can get it on e-bay? They seem to sell that one quite often; sometimes even in the shrinkwrap. I know some people have had problems with DVDs on ebay but I'm one of the ones who has had no problems and am very happy with all of the ones I've gotten on ebay so far. They have all been in excellent condition with no scratches and play perfectly.

Well, Shelley gave an order.:p Besides, I love spending other people's money, well, I love spending money period.

ETA - My mother always said the reason for doing things was "Because I told you to".
 
Yes, but Shelley also gave a couple of reasons to get it before ordering me around. I think I should order you to get it and then send it to me. Yes, I think that would work fine. Hop to, little lady!
 
I wouldn't ask you to share your Mom's day present anyhow. That's especially for you.
