I've read so much over the years about heart rate and since mine runs so high, I really don't pay attention anymore. But a friend's daughter is taking a class at her gym and the instructor told them all they are not supposed to get above their target HR (and she gave them ALL the same one!) because if they exercise above their target HR it does your body no good b/c then it's anaerobic. I've heard it all a million times, but for the life of me can't really explain it. Can anyone help?
Thanks!
