Tall

I can keep up with Cathe on the step no problem - well, I get a bit tired, but that is because I don't do her tapes often enough to build up hte endurance...... I don't think my long legs make it a problem at all. Now, my height and long arms coupled with a lamp/fan hanging down directly over my step definitely create a problem with the arms going over the head.....

For those of you with long legs re: pants. Does anyone know a clothing manufacturer that makes long legs, but normal rise???? Lands' End used to - they would inseam their pants to 36", but now those pants are "talls" with a long rise. Drives me batty...... Does J. Crew do this?

Hello Shari,

I don't think that height is the problem, rather lack of co-ordination and practice. I know that some people who have a natural rhythm find it easier to pick up step routines.

I think you should keep on practising at 8" step and then go even higher if you want to. You'll notice that Rhonda in Cathe's videos always uses 8" even when others uses the lower step (6") for some routines. Since you are even taller than Rhonda, you could increase your step height (if the place you live in allows it).
