Hi everyone,
I recently got Taebo Live Vol. 4.
I like it, but from what I've heard from Cathe's
forum, there are good volumes and bad volumes.
If anyone has all 4 of them I would love a review!
I already have all of Cathes videos and I am always looking for a new crosstraining tape to throw into my rotations.
Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!!!

Tae Bo Live volume 1 for beginner and advanced

well I tried the basic Tae Bo and liked it with limitations. The Tae Bo Live beginner workout is a bit like the advanced from the first series. But the advanced one, well I like Billy Blanks. I think he is great. This tape.. not so sure it is that safe to do unless you have some martial arts training and some supervision
imho.. I am not a personal trainer, I just have the videos and that is my own opinion

I agree Stevie

The tapes could be dangerous because correct
form is mandatory. Injuries(especially to the back) are very possible if you have bad form.
Thankyou,
Jessica

Jessica you are right on there

My SO is a black belt in martial arts and
his feelings about this video is do what you can within your comfort zone and within your own level of experience. Meaning do not try to keep up with them. Form is essential and people can easily get injured if their form is not very precise.

I think it is better to go with either the Tae Bo first series--not the live or go with Janis Saffell or Keli Roberts or even Kathy Smith ( which is really Keli Roberts choreography)

tae bo live

I am just getting into Tae Bo myself (since about Christmas time). I read the videofitness forum, and the general consensus is that of the advanced 1 - 5, the vol 4 and vol 2 are the best. Volume 5 has little punching, and mostly floorwork. Hope this helps.

Tae Bo live #4

Hi Jecca-I own all of the Tae Bo series (1-6) in both the basic and advance.

Your choice was a great choice, rather it be the advance or basic. AL#4 is the most doable of all the advance tapes. BL#4 is also a great tape.

I think Billy Blanks took Tae Bo to a whole new level starting with series #4. Series #6 is just awesome.

Like some of the other posters have posted, it is wise to know some martial arts. If you don't have his instructional tape, I recommend it. His book is excellent. He has lots of pictures and great pointers.
