Table Work, Anyone?

When attempting to do table work (whether using a tall step to support my hips or not...), I have increasing strain in my groin. While we've discussed groin pain in detail here, and I know it's normal, I was wondering if anyone else is particularly afflicted by it while doing table work.

I thought I could substitute standing, straight-leg table work (leaning over my tall box and resting my hands on it), but still, the groin pain. I know I can stand against a wall or use a dowel and do it that way, but it's just not the same (what is right now, though, right?!)!

Thanx...

Hi Michelle! As your body goes through daily, weekly, and monthly changes throughout the course of your pregnancy, you will find that certain exercises that were once comfortable no longer are. You are doing the right thing by modifying, and should continue to do so. If after modifying an exercise you still feel discomfort, you may have to let that particular exercise go for the duration of your pregnancy. Keep listening to your body, you are doing great!

Thank you, Cathe, for your quick response! Ah... guess those are some of the joys of pregnancy, right? I imagined that even when squats & dips became increasingly difficult, my floorwork would be there to kepe my rear view in check.

Modify, modify! Thank you again.
