T-12 Sisters:

Hopefully, we will check-in faithfully this week! I was going to rescue our check-in from the third page but decided to start a new one instead. 10-09-07 a.m. Gym Style Legs (warm-up, standing legs, and stretch)
10-09-07 p.m. Core Max (first segment)

10-10-07 a.m. Body Max 2 (cardio and weights premix)

10-11-07 a.m. rebounding
10-11-07 a.m. Butts and Guts (warm-up and leg blast premix)
10-11-07 p.m. Butts and Guts (abs/core)

10-12-07 a.m. Rhythmic Step

10-13-07 a.m. Total Body Stretching (second segment)

Have a blessed and delightful week! A few of the Ya Yas received shipping notices Friday. I ordered as soon as the presale started, so I am hoping to receive a shipping notice soon. I have my heart set on starting this rotation next Monday.

Blessings,
Heather B.

“So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” (1 Corinthians 10:31 NIV).

Good morning, Heather. WOW...some actually got notice on Friday already??? Your week looks great. How's work and the house, by the way????

I will try my hardest to check in here each day. Zach's BDay is Wednesday and his party at the YMCA is Saturday, but there's not much work to it other than baking his cupcakes and putting the goody bags together.

As for me...I'm rockin and rollin, ladies! I am PUMPED UP to the Nth degree! The results I'm getting SO FAR from Body For Life is are so affirming and positive that it just gets me pumped THINKING about it! LOL This is week 3 for me, and so far, I've NAILED each workout and followed the eating program to a T! My progress pics are actually starting to SHOW the progress, and my jeans are fitting looser. It's all good!

This morning was upper body, and I switched up the exercises. I'm sore in my core and upper back from Power Yoga yesterday morning...or it could be from cleaning up and moving things around in my basement! LOL I'm working on cleaning it out down there so that I can set it up for the kids to have a good play area. I want to hook up the extra TV and PS2 and VCR down there. I've got the second PC down there, as well as a pinball (mini) machine, pool table, Nok Hockey, Air Hockey and plenty of other things. I've got SO much extra furniture, and that's what I'm working on clearing out. My sis will be taking the baby stuff this weekend, my best friend is taking the kitchen table and chairs, and the extras that WON'T be used by US will get donated to the front lawn (lol...it's a neighborhood joke, because when you put ANYTHING on my front lawn marked FREE, it's gone in 10 minutes, lol).

ANYWAY....I have an interview at the school at 9 this morning. I'm psyched about that.

Dave...PSYCHED about that as well! LOL We're going out Friday night to the State Theater to see Collin Mocharie and Frian Sherwood from Who's Line is it Anyway?. My kids are starting to really fall for Dave as well, so I need to have a chat with Dave to find out where, exactly, HE stands and what he's feeling. I don't want me OR the kids to get too far into him if it's not 100% mutual. ANYWAY....that's later this week. lol

Gotta go get dressed and ready. Can't wait to get my shipping notice. It's like a PrePaid Christmas gift!

Gayle

Hi Heather! Wow, great workouts last week girlfriend! WAY TO GO!! I hope you get your shipping notice today or tomorrow. I will probably get mine closer to the end of the week. I am over the top excited for these new workouts. I'm not sure what to do this week - today was a rest day and I just did some light yoga.

Gayle, I'm so happy you are having such great results! I tell ya, you are doing so great - I saw the weights you are using on another thread - AWESOME GIRL!!! I can't wait to see your after pictures! Sounds like your basement is shaping up to be a great place for the kids to hang out! Oh and on Dave, I pray the feelings are 100% mutual! Your wise to make sure before the kids (and you too) become too attached.

Hi and hugs to Jean, Amy, Cheryl, Lorrie, Belinda and Alesia!

Pennie

Hi, Heather - thanks for starting us off.

I just got my shipping notice - 10/22. That's probably Monday afternoon, so I'll have to start my new rotation next Tuesday. That's okay. Can't wait!

Yes, great workouts last week.

Gayle, I'm with you all the way on being cautious about getting too attached. I can't wait to hear how that discussion goes. I will be very surprised if the feeling isn't 110% mutual ;-)

Pennie, you're allowed to take a rest day once in awhile. At least once a month!!

Don't feel bad about the little wine splurges - I'm having to undo two weeks of travel stress/eating now. I realize I'll be home for 4 weeks, so now I'm in full boot camp mode. This morning I worked out 2 hours (Low Max, B&G abs, plus 45 min. on the TM) and I've eating very cleanly yesterday and today. I can keep this up. }(

Have a great night, everyone!

Cheryl

Good Tuesday morning, ladies!

Cheryl-SOOO glad to hear travelling is done for a bit. What a workout you had yesterday! My legs hurt thinking of Low Max! lol

Pennie-I agree...a girl's gotta have SOME fun now and then, and a little wine is the ticket for you. Just remember it's your TRIGGER, so proceed with caution! lol

OK...quickie post for me today. After a LATE night with Dave and less than 4 hours of sleep (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz), I got up at 5:45 for HIIT work on the treadmill. I CRANKED IT OUT, girls! I really did! Then I followed it with abs and a stretch.

Today's plans are simple. Housework (mostly laundry, yuck), work, Jacob starts Intramurals after school today, so before we pick him up, Zach and I will hit the grocery store for some BDay treats for Z to take to school tomorrow. Then football practice, then EARLY to bed (unless, of course, if Dave comes over tonight, lol).

Gayle

Really liking the new color, Gayle...

Been busy on this front. We have a new kitty in the house, so we're having to referee the other 3... he's 10 wks old, orange and white and his name is Peanut! He's so cute and adorable and such a snuggly kitty! He was found in a dumpster after someone threw him away and it broke my heart! I just hope the other 3 hooligans put up with him without beating the snot out him!!!;-)

Hey girls!

Gayle, thanks for sharing your living room pictures with us. The color is sooo beautiful (such a rich, deep color) and I love the way you set up the furniture and decorated the walls! Great job girl! It must feel so awesome to finally be FINISHED! YAY! I saw your post about having to wait to do the new workouts - I know you must want to rip them open but congrats on sticking with your commitment to finish the BFL program. Rock on girl.

Cheryl, I'm getting my DVDs on Monday the 22nd too! I can't wait!!

Amy, HOW FUN - a new kitty! I hope your older kitties adjust to Peanut in no time! Did you see the You Tube video the other day for cat lovers? It was so funny! I'm thinking about adopting another cat in the near future. You are so wonderful to take in another kitty - and I know you are a fabulous mommy to them!

Lorrie, loved your post today - how are you sweetie?

Jean, Heather, Alesia and Belinda - Hello and big hugs!

Love, Pennie

Hi, everyone!

Ooooh, Gayle, love the color. It's my personal favorite color, in fact. It looks great!! Thanks for sharing.

Amy, another kitty? Oh, you are sweet for taking him in. I only realized you had 2 - Baby and Beaner - so you have a full house now, that's for sure  }(

Pennie, I guess we'll be having a Cathe party together next Tuesday morning :7 :7 :7

I am listening to the David Greenwalt Leanness Lifestyle book on tape in my car and am loving it!! Really helping my cause. I am truly re-committed. I bought a beautiful necklace I love and will not be permitted to wear it until I hit goal weight. So there's an incentive. I've been perfect all week and won't be traveling again until the week of Nov. 12. If I can get good momentum going I won't ruin it during my next business trip.

Business is booming. I'm in awe of how well it's going. that's certainly helping ease my stress :+ :+
Today's workout was Step Fit followed by 45 minutes on the TM. So a total 1:40 workout. I've been trying to up the ante for calorie burning affect and keep calories between 1200-1500. That seems to be going well.

Lorrie, Jean, Heather, Belinda and Alesia - hugs to you all!!

Cheryl

Good EARLY morning, ladies!

Amy-Enjoy the new kitty! How cute is the name Peanut? LOL I've been toying with the idea of getting a second cat for our house, but....well, I won't even mention that to the kids! LOL

Pennie-how's the studying going? Have you picked a date to take the exam???

Cheryl-enjoy your HOME time. Like you said, build up momentum so that when travelling does pick up again, you're rolling right along in WARP speed! LOL

Well, it's early. lol I got up a bit earlier today, because I'm going into the school at 8am this morning to help out with class pictures, then straight to the cafe to play with the kids. lol Looks like they gave that FT Associate's position to another candidate. I haven't been told OFFICIALLY, but I saw her walking around the school yesterday with a few staff members, who kind of gave me a look when they caught my eye. I'm okay with that. If they feel SHE is better for that specific child, then that's what counts.

OK...workout is DONE! I'm a walking bag of DOMS today! Yesterday's leg day has my hamstrings and lower back SINGING today. I used heavy weights for deadlifts (nice and slooooooow)...65/75/85/95 and WOW WOW WOW can I feel it today! LOVE IT! This morning's workout was HIIT on the stationary bike, abs and Stretch Max with my ever-breaking-getting-shorter-by-the-workout band! LOL

Dinner last night was a HUGE success for me. I asked the waitress to make sure my chicken was made with NO oil and grilled, my pasta made with NO oil and no sauce, and my salad was all veggies with balsamic vinegar. I ate only HALF of all of it and brought the rest home. NO CAKE or ice cream either! Zach's BDay was awesome! He was the happiest kid in town when he opened his new DS Lite from Grammy (my mom)...had me in tears just seeing how happy he was!

OK! ENOUGH! Time to shower!

Gayle

Gayle, you're doing so awesome....keep it up!!!

Peanut is settling in nicely. He's had the run of the house pretty much all morning and is having a blast!!! The other 3 are getting used to him, but as they are all spoiled, it will take some time.

Cheryl- Yes there are 4 now.....Jellibean (Beaner), Ambush, Baby, and now Peanut.

My upper back and arms are singing this morning from NROL Fat loss 1 yesterday....squats (#80 3X15), DB lat pullover #30, DB push/press #15x2, rotational lunges #12x2. I thought that my legs would be more sore, but they aren't, it my upper back/shoulders from the push/press.....I like that exercise!!!

Cathe should be arriving tomorrow (yea!) but I won't have time to preview (boo!) so I'll have to wait until next week to play!
