I think the gloves is a great idea. I wear them and my hands don't get sweaty at all. If I can remember I think they did when I did't have the weightlifting gloves.
Just last friday I believe it was, I went out and bought a pair of sports gloves similar to the ones cathe wears, they helped me. My hands were sweaty exspecially during plyies, the gloves help.... Rhonda:7
Chalk is also good (blocks of magnesium carbonate that are sold in some fitness equipment stores for really cheap). It absorbs moisture and improves your grip.
