:::: Super Excited Christmas Cheetahs!!!:::::::

Afternoon, cheetah friends! :)

Judy :: oh, I love NKC’s “The Christmas Song”…I have done HSC using the BOSU before…I think the high step w/outs are ideal for this…my abs are really sore from doing the 4DS core work on it yesterday.

Marcia :: Merry Christmas to you, too. :)

Wendy :: I’m sure the Coach bangle bracelet is lovely…enjoy!

Sunny :: I do think people who don’t see us as often can notice the changes better sometimes than we can…wow, a 12% incline! I don’t think my TM even goes up that high.

Carole :: the casserole was pretty good, but it needed the beans, IMO…I love “Holly Jolly Christmas” – gotta be Burl Ives! I hope you get that BOSU.

Lori :: I’m chuckling at the description of DD’s behavior – only b/c I am experiencing the same indifferent attitude with one of my students, and it makes me nuts, too! He appears to care about *nothing*…There are issues with him occasionally, and I have to remind myself that there’s a reason he’s developed that tough exterior. Usually even those who pretend not to care, really do deep down.

Christine :: the Santa tracker is pretty cool…I’m so glad you scored Blokus…It really is a good game – I’ve played it a few times and have it in my classroom…My holiday will be quiet up until I arrive at my aunt’s – then it’ll get LOUD. *lol* I did leg presses using the BOSU yesterday…since it isn’t that high up, I did a knee lift, so it was more of a balance exercise. It did challenge my legs, but in a different way than a typical leg press.

Lorie :: Yippee on the 25# DBs…I’ll share in your new equipment joy!!…Love the pics…I even recognized my card on the mantle…You look beautiful. Made me think what a DOPE your XDF/BF is. I am hoping he surprises you with a BOSU. :)

Jackie :: oh man! You have NO IDEA what you did for my day by paying me such a compliment…I’m eons away from Ms. A, but I thank you very much for such kind words! I even went out again TODAY for more. Scored a ski boot bag for $4.47 (ohhhh YEAH!), so that I don’t have to pack the boots in my suitcase.

Shelly :: hope you have a quiet night tonight…*lol* about making music with the wine goblets…I brought some kind of game to the Christmas Eve gathering one year, and since then, the clan looks to me for entertainment…Last year, I didn’t bring anything and they all complained. *lol*…So this year, I’m bringing Music Catchphrase…dang, I’m gonna have to try that BC u/b circuit. Sounds fun!

Linda :: I’m in a great mood, just calm and relaxed and low-key…I’m sorry about your Dad :(...I do get a little bummed out about missing my fam who live overseas. Earlier today, I called my aunt and cousin whom I'm closest with, and it was great to hear their voices but a little sad, too. But I snap right back into happy thoughts. :)...I’m thinking we just check in randomly whenever re: the gifts…what does everyone else think?

I've not worked out yet...I woke up feeling a little "off" this morning...Thought I would shake it, but I'm still sniffly and coughing and kinda queasy. Weird. Hope I don't come down with anything. Listening to my body (mostly the puke feeling), I will probably NOT go for the cardio today and am leaning toward one of the SMs rather than yoga. Don't like doing inverted poses when my sinuses feel a little jacked up.

My answers to the questions:

1. "Holly Jolly Christmas" - Burl Ives, "It's Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas," "and "All Alone on Christmas" (I think that's the title -- it's from Home Alone.)

I also love U2's version of "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)", Wham's "Last Christmas," "Christmas in Hollis" Run DMC, and Band Aid's "Do They Know it's Christmas?"

2. A Wii system. I'll buy it for myself after the holidays.

3. Unique is probably that we celebrate German Christmas...We open all gifts on Christmas Eve. Don't think I have a favorite tradition now, but as a kid, it was piling into my uncle's car and all of us going to see a local house that was all lit up. You could walk through the yard, and they had a little display area where there was a miniature village with trains and boats set up. I could've stared at it for hours.

All right, gotta go do some cleaning and then get cleaned up for dinner at my aunt's. Merry Christmas, all!

Hi Girls.

I just finished my work out. It was waaaay tougher then I expected it to be! I think I've earned my right to eat ANYTHING I WANT tomorrow!:p

I did Cardio Core from P90 Masters and then followed that up with HSC and HSTA cardio only back to back. YEOW!!!! I was huffin' and puffin' and huffin' some more! Very HIIT style cardio and TOUGH!!!! LOVED IT, ofcourse. :+

Alrighty...time to grab some food and hit the shower.

BBIAB!:)

wendy-awesome workout girl. i definitely give you permission to eat all you want:7 }( :p

peppermint bark and toffee are DONE! really, they are sooooo easy it wasn't much. now, they are cooling and i will break it up and put it into tins for tomorrow.

cathy-thanks for your kind words. i don't really like how i look in those pics but i love that we are all together. it's really nice to have a group of catheites close, but more than that, we have really become friends. it's nice.

wendy-W.O.W. on your workout!!!

sunny-i am sure your house smells wonderful!

lorie- i am envious that you have catheites so close by and you all have become friends. that is so awesome! love your pics:D

linda- we miss you when you don't post:) . great workouts!!

tess and i started talking and decided to put a thread out there for anyone who lives in or near the atlanta area to contact us because we were going to start a yahoo group. quite a few people contacted us, but in the end, there are a core group of us (about 7) who get together regularly. it's really nice to have them around. we do fitness stuff or just get together for lunch or something. i wish all the cheetahs lived closely!!!

K Girls...Now that I'm all clean and non-offensive I can catch up on some personals before the hustle and bustle of the "Eve" begins!:7

For those who were asking...here's a link to the Coach bangle I got for Christmas from my mom. I got it in the silver/silver color. It's funny cause I had picked a particular one out that I was going to give DH as an idea. Well, I never gave it to him and then at the last minute my mom asked for ideas so I emailed this idea to her but didn't tell her the exact one. She's very good at knowing my taste so I told her she can choose if she wants to buy me one. Well, guess what!? She chose the EXACT bracelet I had originally wanted! WTG mom!:+

Sunny: Glad you are off except for a couple of short classes this week. Enjoy it!:)

Carole: Almond champange sounds interesting!:9 Sounds like a good work out for you today. Any holiday plans for this evening?
OMG, Santa is getting Joey all kinds of stuff! LOL Hmmmm...let's see if I can remember it all...a firetruck floor puzzle (it's 4 foot long!), one of these: http://www.sensoryedge.com/mazes.html?gclid=CPecxInxwZACFQ66PAodLXTXYQ , some inexpensive toy cars and trucks, a set of markers and paper where the markers only draw on the special paper so they are "safe" to be used by kids (like my son) who don't understand not to draw on the furniture yet-LOL, stickers, some Sponge Bob chocolates, a small magna-doodle type toy...that's all I can think of right now but I know there's more. The more boring gifts are from mommy and daddy- a few books and a Diego video, etc. :7

Lori: Lucky you that you are staying home. We want to stay home but if we do, we'll be alone all day and we don't want that. We need a bigger house so we can entertain. Grrrr.

Christine: I've seen the Norad Santa Tracker before. It's cute. I hope you get your Movado watch! I asked for one a couple of Birthday's ago and actually got it! I couldn't believe it! }(

Lorie: Your mantle looks great with all of those Cheetah cards up there!;) Beatiful GTG pics of you and your Atlanta Cathe girls. Glad you girls had such a nice time. You are lucky to have a group close enough to gtg on a regular basis.

Jackie: Enjoy your holidays and the time with your sisters!

Shelly: Yeah your critters are spoiled but so is my **85 POUND LAP DOG**! :7 :p :7 I hope work is quiet for you tonight.

Linda: I have 3 Coach purses and a wristlet. That's where it started. I've since branched out to shoes, wallets, keychains and now the jewelery...where will it end!?!:p I don't mind though as I don't buy this stuff for myself so I don't ever have to worry about feeling guilty (not that I SHOULD feel guilty, but I probably would anyway)and I always have something to ask for when it comes time for Birthdays and Christmas! }(

Cathy: I hope you feel better in time to have fun tonight!!!!

So Catheites...Linda asked a good question about how/when we will do the reporting of gifts from the Grab-bag! I think setting a time will be too hard as everyone has a different agenda for the day so I say we just post what we got and who it was from when have the chance at some point during the day!

Well, my time here is up!

Have a great night and....

HO HO HO, Merry Christmas Cheetahs!!!!!!!!!!!!:+

Cathy – Hope you feel better and the yucky feeling goes away! Sinus problems can sure make a person feel lousy. I am glad you got to talk to your aunt and cousin today! That is good that you got to talk to them! I agree..checking in randomly sounds good to me! Like Wendy said, everyone will be so busy at different times!

Wendy – That sounds like a great workout! I never think to do the cardio only premixes of those workouts! Add those with Core Cardio and I’ll bet it was tough, tough!
I will definitely have to try to find DD a bracelet or some kind of Coach jewelery! No, you should definitely not feel guilty! We women deserve indulgences and like you said! Other people get them for you as gifts! I agree with you on the checking in tomorrow. You are right…..we are all going to be on different schedules!

Sunny – Thank you for saying that! I always miss you guys when I can’t check in, too!

Hi Cheetahs!

Since I'm still not sleeping well and I was awake at 3:00 this morning, I cut my visit short with my sisters. Thought I'd come home and get rested up for tomorrow. But, I wanted to see what my Cheetah friends were up to.

Shelly - I hope your 12 hour shift goes by fast tonight. Glad you got a lot accomplished yesterday. Guess you can count me as another person that doesn't get excited about Christmas. Just too much sometimes.

Christine - Love the Santa pic. Merry Christmas to Jimmy too. What's under the tree for him?

Linda - You've really been hitting the workouts hard. Great job!

Lorie - 90 minutes is a long step workout! Can you walk? I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that Santa will surprise you with that Bosu. It's nice to have Catheites so close by that you can get together often.

Cathy - When do you leave for your ski trip? I know you're going to have loads of fun. Hope you're feeling better.

Wendy - I agree. You should be able to eat anything you want without guilt tomorrow. Bet Joey is excited. That Coach bracelet is beautiful. I use to be a Coach fanatic. Not so much anymore but I will buy a purse every now and then.

Sunny - Santa is going to enjoy those home made cookies.

I going to relax now. Everyone have a wonderful Christmas Eve.

Jackie

I didn't answer the questions.

1. White Christmas - Bing Crosby, Silent Night - Temptations and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen by anyone.

2. He could pay for the new house I'm building.

3. Spending time after Christmas dinner chatting and catching up on things with everyone.

Jackie

Linda – Merry Christmas and big sloppy puppy kisses to Madison and you from Jimmy and me! You’re welcome to come to Target with me! I have two within easy driving distance. At 8AM it was not too crowded. I got a board game, a video game and bacon (I was make breakfast burritos for my dad and DD14). I’m more of a kid than my kids are – they are so blasé about Christmas this year. Too cool for it or something. Drives me crazy. :p

Lorie – You’re gorgeous – your xDF ought to be crapping his pants over losing you! :p Yes, Aussies are wonderful dogs. Not for everyone because they are high energy, but any self respecting Cheetah can come up with enough exercise for them. My breeder sent me that photo – I had to share it – too cute. I love the cards, and my Cheetah friends, too! Great job on getting the 25# weights for yourself!

Cathy – yeah, I happy I managed to get Blokus for our friend’s son. He’s a great kid. Thanks so much for the suggestion! One day I’ll get a BOSU. I’m looking forward to it. Have fun opening presents tonight!

Wendy – Great job on your killer workout! Enjoy your rest day tomorrow! I will! Sounds like a killer workout!

Sunny – I miss my kids being small and excited about Christmas! Have fun with your boys!

Jackie – Hope you manage to get some sleep tonight! Jimmy has a big stocking filled with squeaky toys! He’ll be in squeaky heaven! Enjoy your Christmas!

Well, I need to go feed the dogs, then get ready for the evening. Have a great Christmas Eve everyone! And Merry, Merry Christmas!
