Sunday Fit for T-day

Hello everyone,

Thought I would start us out, if I may be so bold :D

Did Step Fit, the first 45 minutes, and segment 1 of core max. Eggbeater, spinach, and tomato omelette, and toast with butter (measured out a teaspoon;)). Broke down and had a piece of cinnamon twist, my kids' Sunday treat, but wrote it down. Will have vegetable and brown rice soup for lunch, and a smart ones entree for dinner if the family dinner doesn't look doable (my husband cooks).

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day!

Hi Lisa & all who follow :)

It's Sunday... and I'm finally starting to feel like I'm getting back to myself after traveling last week... Lots of things around the house to catch up on... laundry, dusting and vacuuming, and MM or ME... haven't decided which one yet...

had a craving for pot roast for sunday dinner, so DH bought one last night and is starting to put it together in the crock pot! Apparently the power of suggestion (another forum thread "CROCK POTS") is still alive and well. Why is it SO much harder to obsorb the "DON"T EAT THAT STUFF" and "EAT CLEAN" threads??? If I ate as well as I work out, I'd have a pretty good thing going... I guess I should start logging my food again. I used www.fitday.com a few years ago and actually bought the downloadable upgraded version... better bust that out again!

LISA: good job on the workout! My DH does all the cooking too, but my problem is that I EAT it! we only have a furbaby so unfortunately he cooks for me... and I am WEAK WEAK WEAK! I have a freezer full of Smart Ones, Lean Cuisines, etc... but that's where they stay... fresh is SO much better... DH and I had a LONG talk a few weeks back about what he cooks for me, and he is behind me in my quest to start eating better... so hopefully that will help.

hope everyone has a great day!

Hello Everyone and Dani ;)

Pot roast is pretty good, right? I have a freezer full of smart ones, too, true that about fresh being far superior. I think I am going to google up some sort of group of recipes where you cook a week's worth of food in one day, and eat it all week, like roast chicken, etc. Now that the weather is getting cooler, it could be fun to have a cook day. How domestic. My DH cooks, but in general it involves defrosting something, not that I'm complaining, there are always vegetables included somehow. There is also the added factor of making things that my two kids (9 and 6) will eat. Sometimes, I just want to put a soup tureen of ketchup on the table.

I started out so good today, and then ate three more cinnamon twist things for lunch. I am stressed out b/c I have to do a presentation tomorrow. Sigh.

Well, here's to a better tomorrow,
Take care

Ugh! Hate presentations, so I feel for ya... You will be great I'm sure!

Pot roast turned out YUMMY!!! all I had to eat this morning was cereal, so I was hungry earlier tonite... couldn't wait.. regretfully I have had a headache and cramps so was not eager to do any workout...

another day tomorrow so will get back into a normal routine!

Where are all the other T-dayers??? :D
