Hi everyone!
I never did make it back yesterday. Some relatives of dh's came in from out of town unexpectedly, so that made the afternoon go quickly. I really like these people--better than much of my own extended family
Dh and dds had a really good time at tae kwon do camp--it's very family oriented. Very few children were there without a parent and many family members came who don't do tae kwon do. It's fairly reasonably priced, so next year, we all may go and hang out.
My workouts are sucking big time. I did 3 45 minute sessions on the stationary bike and some shoulder, bicep, and tricep work whilst gettind dh 13 (almost 14) set up on his weight training program.
+++++
Danielle--Welcome!
You sound very fit! My injury prone body won't allow for either marathons or triathalons, but boy do I admire those who can do those things. I am expecting a girl as well. She is due in a couple of weeks. This forum is very supportive.
Kate--LOL on the grooming issue. I am so there. I haven't seen my nether regions in months, but they feel hairy and gross. Dh does do a bit with scissors, but I'm really nervous having him do it--I'm afraid he'll snip me. Plus, I like to really have it looking even, neat and trim--he just cuts off the excess--who knows what it looks like. Sigh...... proper grooming will come soon.....but not before everyone in the labor and delivery room sees my unkempt parts....but then again, they probably see all kinds, so why am I so stressed about this?
JenM--If I were going on the road trip, I would definitely splurge on something extra cute and comfy--I mean road trips don't happen every day! When do you leave? Oh and I start showing as soon as I know I'm pregnant and when I get around to posting a picture, you'll see why
Candra--have fun registering for your baby shower! And enjoy your alone time--I always enjoy having a bit of time to myself.
Jen--I get winded so easily, it's hard to believe that just a few months ago, I was able to complete an hour, sometimes more of hardcore cardio--I know I'll get it back, but still....it's kind of depressing.
Mikki--How long are the in laws staying? Sorry about the painting woes--I freshly painted a bunch of stuff last year and now it has been marked up with various artistic media (I wash it every now and then, but then they seem to think--look! a blank slate!--it's just a season, it's just a season, it's just a season.... )Oh and we live in Portland, Oregon.
Lisa--good work on the weight gain and the workouts--you are in the 3rd trimester now--how exciting! Have you had trouble with your glucose test before? If not, I'm sure you will pass it.
Kristan--a swim sounds heavenly--cool and weightless--what I wish I was right about now. Instead I'm hot and heavy and not in a good way
