SUNDAY 4-25 workout

Good morning everyone. I did the squats and plie squats from PH, then abs from SJP and the Bi-Tri section of S&H. Then a 10 mile trail run on a course they are using for a mini triathlon today. Maybe I'll do the tri next year! I have promised my Pastor I would do a tri before I turn 50...:)...I am thinking about now doing PS floor legs...:)...Carole

The kids were at their dad's so I was very lazy today. Didn't feel like working out, but I finally decided on the very short BC cardio&lower body premix, because I always feel guilty when I don't do anything. But while working out, I wanted more, so I added PLB down premix without the stability ball work and as I was in a very good mood by then topped it off with S&H legs&buttocks.

Don't know if I can come down the stairs tomorrow morning, but for now I feel great.

Carole, you definitely should do a tri! That's the way to celebrate turning 50!

I just can't get enough of these HIITs lately --- here we go for today:

20 min bike w/ 10 min HIIT
BC
KPC abs

I have to admit that since I'm S&H-ing I've got much stronger. YIPPEE!

I am sure I will do one, Mari....have you done any? I am going to do a HIIT with my Nordic tomorrow...:)...Carole
 
Hello...I did Supersets yesterday...not sure what to think of it. I kept getting interupted so had to keep pausing the Dvd so it made me feel like I really didn't get a good workout. What is HIIT, btw?
 
I did S&H Chest and Back on Sunday.

A triathlon sounds like a great goal for you Carole! Have you done marathons before?

I do like Supersets and even with the interuptions I bet you still got in a good workout. There have been a few discussions about HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) which makes shorter cardio segmants that burn fat better than the usual long cardio...check out this link...

Hi Dawn, yes I have done 11 marathons since 1997. I think sometimes my sister regrets getting me started...:)...just being out there yesterday watching the triathletes got me thinking about doing that course next year. I know the course very well....and yes...a good goal...:)...Carole
