Summer Reading

Hi Kristi,

I was able to watch the Seabiscuit trailer on the web site a few weeks ago. I'm definitely looking forward to seeing the movie.

I highly recommend the Left Behind series, but you would need to start at the beginning. I'm anxiously awaiting Vol. 11 to arrive in the mail!

Anything by Simon Brett. :D He writes humorous mystery novels. I've read his entire collection at least twice.

I'm ususally a serious ancient history person, but sometimes I just need something airy, light and funny. :p

If you like history in story form, two good book are The
Sunne in Splendour by Sharon Kay Penman and The Red Tent
by Anita Diamant. A few other good ones that stick out
are Daughter of Fourtune (Opra book list) and Highlander.
There is a recent thread on that book alone. One of my
favs!! My next read is Lovely Bones. I'm not really into
sad stories, but it comes highly recommened. Happy reading!
