Summer Fitness Challenge May 9-16

Good Morning Ladies,

I am up early to try and do my workout before work. I am feeling more tired then I thought I was though. I didn't sleep very well at all. I was dreaming about a couple of things plus my nose was all stuffed up:-(
I didn't workout at all yesterday and I ate way to much. I was hungover a bit so I did the McDonalds drive thru and then we went out for dinner. I was in bed by 10:30, which would have been great if I slept sound.
Other then that, I am going to try and do weights tonight as well. I thought I would run now but I am actually considering doing Imax3. I could be triping over my feet.

I am going to do one of my Joyce weight workouts, and some Cathe cardio. Here is to a better week than last week!!!

I'd drink to that! I hope my week is better then last week and this is my busy week so what are the chances?

By the time I started working out I only had time for 5 intervals and abs. But thats o.k. My head as alot of pressure today.I guess its my sinuses.
I am planning on going for a small run tonight and then UB or legs. My daugther is at gymnastics until 8:30 so I will have a couple of hours to myself.

Today will be ab hits then everything else is up in the air until my mail comes. I am waiting to see if I get my new cathe dvd's that I won off ebay. I will decide from there about cardio and weight training.

This morning was KPC. I'm thinkin' I must need new shoe since my feet, legs and knees are killing me from MIC yesterday. Hope it's just not a sign of old age kickin' in!

Hi everyone,

I am up to workout before work again. I am not feeling as miserable as yesterday which is a plus:)
I am just going to do the 20 min BFL run today and then weights tonight which....I didn't do yesterdayx( I really gotta get myself on a routine here. I use to have so much discipline and now I am got the oppposite way. Of course my excuse is going to be that I was to tired when I got home. I fell asleep around 10:30 last night so I had a good nap. I also have my meals packed today so that should keep me from picking at the ice cream at work.

Lori-glad you are feeling better!

So far today I did lowmax. Later will be push pull or super sets and then some core work from abhits.

Diana-Are you loving our weather? I sure am! Do you still want to meet up this weekend?

Hi everyone,

This morning was Muscle Max. I should be out running in our beautiful weather now, but instead I'm eating my salad with tuna. PMS is here and I've already had a few miniature chocolates. Will try to eat better the rest of the day.

Terri-Yep, I'm looking forward to meeting up with you this weekend. I'll try to call tomorrow and see if we can find a place in the middle to meet.

Hello girls,
Well yesterday I was a bit of a slacker and didn't stretch or do MM. So today I ran 2.5 miles and did the upper body portion of MM.

Tonight I went to my inlaws for dinner. I had 4 pieces of pizza and 2 servings of salad. Too much food. Thankfully I was pretty good this morning with the eating.

I signed up for a 10K race for June 26 so I am following a training plan.

Well, of course I had the WORST PMS of mty life this month, as I say every month, but I have really slacked on my eating and workouts have been non existant. I know I spelled that wrong, but I can't figure out how to spell it right!! Today is a new day, it is finally here, and hopefully it will only take me a week to lose the 5 lbs. I feel I have gained in the last week.

Good Morning Ladies,

Feeling a bit weird again today.I went to the Dr. to get my medical done and I felt fine. And as soon as I left the office I started to get this bad sinus headache. Geezzzz, I have had alot of complaints lately and to think I am only 26.
Oh, got on the Dr. scales, which I think are wrong! They said I was 135 lbs:-( Now thats not very nice. But he was having no mercy and kept saying the scale was right.
Anyhoo....I have a pretty busy day today. DH and I are gutting out the basement, and I have a hair appt. at 4:30 p.m. Which I am sure I will be looking forward to by that time. It is already 10:45 and we haven't even started yet! I wanted to fit in my exercise before I go to the hairdresser, but I don't think thats gonna be an option.
Anyway, I will check back sometime today!

Lori maybe the 135 is all muscle which is a good thing! I hope you feel better. Seems like a lot of us have been sick lately. Today is treadmill for cardio and push/pull for weights then abhits. I have been thinking about the summer and I usually get excited but lately life is just seeming flat to me. I need something to spice it up. Any suggestions?

Hi Ladies,

This morning was Imax 3. I must admit this has become my favorite workout. I've alway struggled with Imax 1, but I bet I would be a lot better at it now that I am getting used to all that jumping from Imax 3. It's also TOM and I will force myself to workout everyday this week. I can do it.

NurseLori-you will be back on track in no time, especially with your 10K training plan.

LoriH-I would be so lucky to weigh 135. Hope you start feeling better soon. You've been feeling lousy for awhile now.

LoriS-You will feel much better if you workout. Come on and join me.

Terri-I feel the same way, it could be the weather too. I know summer is almost here, but I don't really care. Sad but true.

Hey-where is everyone? It is TOM and I had absolutely no energy to workout this morning. How sad is that! I didn't even follow the advice I gave to LoriS. We are taking MIL to dinner for Mother's Day tonight, the only night we could all get together. Hopefully I feel like doing something tomorrow.

I did cardio and weight..fittv version. It just doesnt seem long enough :( I may have to buy it. Later is abs and a weight workout. I really feel like these days I am forcing myself to workout. But after the first workout I am glad I did it!

Hi Ladies,

I did a run last night and another run today in the a.m. Needless to say, my a.m run was crap. When you think about it I ran 24 kms in 13 hours. Just b/c its a different day it gets looked at differently.
My last couple of runs I have taken my dog and when we have been about 5-10 mins away from home he decides to stop. I think his running days are over. I hope he isn't having problems with his hips.He is almost 8 yrs old, I am not sure when they start to slow down.
Other then that, I have been to busy to pump any iron (unfortunatly) Hopefully I will fit some in tomorrow. I am working days all weekend....YAHHHH, no nights:)
And, I haven't been feeling overly well. I get sick about an hour after waking. I think I have sinus problems, I get wicked headaches. Last night I was lying in bed, trying to figure out why I was sick and when my last period was.I came on the forum to to see if I posted about TOM and it was Mar 21st. I think I have had one since then but I have forgotten about it. I took a test anyway and I am not pregnate! Good!
Anyway, I must go check and see how dinner is doing.

Oh Diana, I feel your pain. I am almost 42, and it seems the older I get, the harder my period is. It almost kills me 6 months out of the year.

I did work out yesterday, I did an UB from Joyce4, and a Firm cardio. Today I am going to do The Bathing Suit Workout, and the Low Max Intervals. Should be a good workout. My eating was also good yesterday.

Hi Ladies,

No workout again this morning. I am soooo bloated there was just no way I could do aerobics and I feel horrible. It's about lunch time and I'm starting to feel a little better. Maybe I can run over to the rec center and get some cardio in.
