Good Morning Kali, Charlotte, Terri, Jess, Cleo and anyone else that may have slipped my mind! :)

Charlotte-I know that you have the Omron. I use that thing and find that it goes up and down like a yo-yo from day to day and if I do 2 readings back to back I almost NEVER get the same reading twice!? Do you get the same thing happening to you?? BTW--thanks for sending me that rotation! It looks SCAREY! :eek: LOL

Well I was successfull yesterday in finding an outfit for Joey. :)
I also bought him his next car seat. He's growing like such a weed he'll be too big for his infant seat in no time!!!

I took my rest day yesterday. I had no time to work out.

Today is full body weights, cardio and abs but not until this afternoon....

I am down close to 3 pounds already! You can not imagine how esctatic I am!!! :+ :7 :+ :7

Yes, I know that about the Omron. Hubby wants me to throw it away or at least start using the caliper. I only use my Omron now when I do cardio or yardwork or both because it is always the same if I am just strength training. I don't know why it keeps jumping back up again later as I don't eat bad. Geez, I made my son his chocolate/chocolate birthday cake and it just sits there and I want to it, but I find something to distract myself and try to stay out of the kitchen too. Today I am throwing it out if no one eats the last few pieces. I did have a sliver of it at his birthday though.
I am looking forward to that rotation. I need to improve my endurance as well as increase my strength so that is why I thought it would be good too to have 2 rest days a week instead of one since it is going to be hard.

Today is my rest day. Well I finished push mowing so not really. LOL!

Great you lost 3 pounds!!!!!! I gained 1 1/2 pounds and I am happy about that!!!!

My son is growing like a weed too. He is as tall as me now. You just wait. Try not to blink often or you might miss something! LOL!

Good Morning! I am feeling better so I think resting has helped. I plan to rest one more day to mske sure I don't relapse thsn I will get back on the rotation from aug05. I will add in ehst I misssed at the end. Since I leve tursday I can do that workout before I go to the airport. I am going to take my laptop and take the dvd's I need and do them there. I also plan to run on the bach a lot so I will get plenty working out in but still leaves me lots of time to play:)

Wendy-So happy for you on your weight loss! I know you been clinging to a few stubborn pounds. Not that your pics showed it, you looked great to me! I can't wait to see Joey pics in his new outfit! When is the christening?

Charlotte-I am happy that you gained a few pounds. I am sure it is muscle cause you are like me and seem to be able to have super arms! I am still debating on doing your rotation in september. I want to do a s&h roation but I could do the cardios you have mentioned and the weights from s&h. What do you think? Yeah throw that cake out. Not that I ever could picture you caving into a major cheat:)

Glad your feeling better. I think you are listening to your body and being wise. What's the slow and heavy rotation?
Actually, it is hard for me to not give in to chocolate especially if it is in the house. Really kills me sometimes. Makes me wish too I didn't buy that stupid chocolate brownie home interior candle. Pure torture just to smell it...thank God for chocolate protein bars and shakes!!!!

Good morning!

I slept until 8 again today! I probably won't want to get up tomorrow at 5:45! Well I was afraid to weigh in because I changed my workouts, but I lost another lb and 1/2 inch off everything! :7:7:7!!

I only walked yesterday because I didn't get done cleaning till after 5pm. Then we went for a ride on our "Hog".

Wendy you are doing great. I'll say it again I TOLD YOU!!!:) Glad you got Joey's outfit and chair. Yes when is the christening? You'll find something to wear and if you keep it up, you WILL be buying a smaller size. I bought a denim mini skirt the other day and I had to get one 2 sizes smaller than I was before I started all this. :7

Terri-glad you're feeling better. Rest is the best thing for you.It's not like you're not going to make up for it.}( So you leave Tuesday? Awesome. Now at least you'll feel good so you can enjoy yourself! :)

Hi Charlotte! I didn't do the Fiesta yesterday. Good for you with the weight gain. You look awesome. Today was supposed to be my rest day, but since I only walked yesterday I'm making yesterday my rest day. Don't know what I'm doing yet. I'm off for a walk now and then I'll either do a Cathe w/o or my own free work if I can't get to a TV. Sometimes I hate the weekends.

I realized yesterday as my 7 and almost 6 year old were bickering as usual, that in a week & 1/2, they will only be together, awake, for not even 8 hours a day for 5 days in a row. Oh that is a happy thought for me. I'm sad they're going back to school, but it's just in time as they are really getting to me with the constant arguing. I think I'm ready for them to go.

Thanks Charlotte- There is a link to the slow and heavy on the cathe roataion links on the rotations thread. I was basically going to do s&h weihts but do my own cardio, I think I will maybe do yours instead. HAHAHA I know what ya mean about candle scents. At christmas I put out sugar cookie and pumplin pie candles!

Hi Kali-Actually I leave thursday! So I have 4 good days of working out before I go starting tomorrow:) Enjoy your walk! I am glad you slept in and plan to take the sunday paper and go back to bed for a bit. It is cloudy here right now. I got up to take my antibioyics and check in here then back up I go:)

It's about time you showed up here, Kali! :p :p :p Congrats on the weight/inch loss and ESPECIALLY on the skirt! That's AWESOME! So would you mind telling us your total inches and weight lost so far and how long it has taken? I think it would be quite inspiring as you sound like you are making some fantastic progress!:7

I guess I'll take the Omron results with a grain of salt...I have noticed though that despite the yo-yo effect the results seem to end up going in one direction which is good atleast.

Went for a walk this morning x( It was way too hot to be walking out there. Came back and spent an hour vacuuming the pool. Just came in to peel some potatoes for DH for his dinner. He's having Johnsonville Brats and grilled potatoes. I will not touch either one.
I had some lentil soup and later I'll have a big salad with a chicken breast or something.

Ok. Here's the scoop. On July 7, I weighed 175lbs.
Today I weighed in at 162.
I have lost: Chest (I like to say back)2"; Hips: 1&1/2"; Thighs: 1&1/2; Waist: 3"; Bi's: 1&1/2"; Forearms: 1"; Calves: 1".
So I've lost 13 lbs. and a total of 11&1/2 inches since July 7.

The first few weeks I didn't see much change until I started eating clean and watching my calories, fat, carbs and protein. Then things started to happen. Fast.

I just finished eating some cottage cheese with a little bit of fruit after my work out. :9 I need a few more calories in the way of some carbs though so I'll be grabbing something else to eat when I'm done here.

I did Power Hour with the ab section but I omitted the planks cause I just didn't feel like doing them! :p Then I jumped into Imax 2: Intervals 1-5 premix for my cardio.

Hrm says I burned 539 cals!:7

Tomorrow is circuit day...is BodyMax considered a circuit work out??? I know there is a section in it that is referred to as a circuit but I don't know if the entire work out qualifies as one...I'm thinking not. Anyone know???

Okay, I'm off to get some more food in me!:9

Kali, your DH's dinner sounds AWESOME but I can totally understand why you won't touch it! It's BEYOND evil!!!}( }( }( I have no clue what we will have for dinner tonight yet.

Terri-so glad you are feeling better! You have 4 days of work outs before vacation, huh? Well then go for it!!! :) I go on a cruise in November. The other/last cruise I went on was for my Honeymoon and the ship had a fitness facility in it and I actually used it 5 out of the 7 days of the cruise! The only reason I didn't use it the other 2 days is because they are your first and last days and it's just not feasable. I only did fast walking on the treadmill for 30 mins per day but it kept me in the groove of exercising and warded off that evil vacation weight gain monster! }( I hope to be able to do that again.

BodyMax is a Circuit w/o. I have the list printed right here. I just got done with my schedule for next week. I think it will be a little more fun as I am going to do my cardio and leg work together. For example tomorrow I'm going to do LowMax. I'll do a combo, then a leg exercise right thru. Then I'll do upper body and abs. This will hopefully shorten the w/o's a little.
If not I'm going to do some more tweaking. I do not want to go over 90 minutes.

Sounds like you had a great workout Wendy. I'm glad you're seeing some results. It makes it so much more worthwhile and fun. That's why I'm so freaking happy-go-lucky! :7

Glad you're taking it easy Terri. I can't wait to see what you're planning for yourself the next 4 days tho!}( Remember you're recooperating! ;-)

Very cool Kali, then if I am up to it, I will be doing Body Max tomorrow...I just don't look forward to the step routine in it x( so I may consider subbing in another 30 min step instead to avoid the frustration!!!

Wendy-How come you don't like the step part of bodymax? Bodymax is one of my favorite workouts. Sounds like you got a awesome workout in today ladies! I am jealous but I know rest is best for today.

Hello Lovelies!

Just got back from bike riding with my son. He wanted to go bike riding and my hamstrings are still sore, but what the heck! Lovely evening and not so hot as yesterday. The trail we went on you are allowed to ride bikes there. Seems like a few walkers don't appreciate the bike riders. I swear a few of the women had their noses up so high in the air that when we rode by I am sure they were catching some gnats up in there.

Tomorrow will be working out upper body! YEAH!

I don't like most of the step workouts. They make me dizzy and sometimes I trip over my feet trying to keep up with Cathe.

Hey charlotte-Bike riding with your son how fun! So do you run for cardio since you don't like the step workouts? I alternate between running and the step workots myself. I would love an elliptical but thaey are so expensive! Anyway just curious about your cardio.

Hi Charlotte! That's great you got to go riding with your son. I can't wait till mine are old enough that I can do things like that with them. I know. They will grow up fast enough as it is.

Wendy try BodyMax. It's not that bad. What I did first was do it without the step a few times. Once I learned it, I hopped on the step. That helped me. I love stepping tho so.....

Thank you guys so much. You have no idea how much you have helped me get where I am so far. If it wasn't for Cathe and you ladies, I would still be a depressed, self loathing mess. I love you guys and am so glad God put us all in each other's lives.

Tonight's almost over Terri. Hang in there. Tomorrow is a brand new day with new workouts for all of us! :7

I haven't been doing much cardio lately. No excuse, I just haven't. My eating has been about the same so I am not gaining anymore bodyfat, but I am not worried because I have to do my own rotation next month. Talk about cardio!

Ah, that is so nice to say that. I thank God for you ladies too. It is so nice that we can all be there to encourage and inspire one another. Each day is what we make out of it and what we do with it.
For me, I had to learn to eat right as it affected my moods and I was in a constant state of funk. I would just cry for no reason. I still have A day when I get moody due to pms, but I don't have DAYS like I use to. Ain't it great?
