Summer Check in Sept 2nd

Hey Marie.

Does circuit max have lots of upper body weight work in it? I can't remember. If it does, it should be close enough...Body Max has a 1/2 hour section dedicated to upper body, that is why I am asking. The lower body is done during the power circuit segment....

Well I just realized I have a basket of laundry folded in my room that has yet to be put away from the beginning of the week! :eek: Best get to it and when I'm done, it's off to feed the little guy and FINALLY maybe get my work out in! :)

PS--Kali???? Where are you woman!? It's not like to you to be MIA for this long!:p

Here I am! I've been running non stop all day! Got the boys to school,:)got my hair cut, (I decided to chop it again Lori!) shopped for some new clothes at the mall, realized it was noon and I didn't eat yet so I had 2 pieces of broccoli pizza, x( came home, felt bad about the pizza so I went for a walk! :7 Got the boys, and here did some little things around the house and here I am. I just had some brown rice w/some chicken breast. Tomorrow I'm going to eat as soon as I get up and eat every 3 hours even if I have to force myself. I am afraid of weighing in this Sunday! :(

This morning I did cardio from BodyMax and a 45min. Body Sculpting tape w/ weights. Then I had a 40 min. walk this afternoon.

I was going to do the Toasty rotation but decided against it for now. I think I'd like to try it once I get down to where I want to be.
Marie~ I was thinking about doing the Sept. rotation. I have to take a look at it again. I'll let you know if I'm gonna do it with you.

When I was walking before, a really close friend of mine was at a stop sign as I was walking towards her and I waved and as I got to her she said "I didn't even recognize you, you look so good!" YEAH! That was a nice compliment! And I see her all the time!

Tomorrow is the party at my IL's. I'm ready for the horseshoe tournament. I didn't practice at all but that's ok.

Alright. That's enough from me. Can you tell I haven't been in here all day?

Charlotte~ That is so nice. But Woman I still have 27lbs to lose before New Years! I can't make up my mind with what I should do! Do you think it will help me keep losing weight and inches if I do extra cardio and lighter weights? What do you think now that I've got you pumped? LOL! }( Love YA!

You should try to run. I swear that is what worked for me losing body fat. I must have been up around 30% bodyfat before I started running. The fat just melts off so well if you can at least run steady for about 1 hour, and the longer the better. So yes, do extra cardio, more reps with lighter weights. Should do it for ya. Well I just got my first chicken picture up at 300 walking lunges. Came in as I had to get some shrimp to eat so now I will go back out again. Started first along the side of our home. We have neighbors on both sides, and they are home. I know the ones and the back watched me...they see everything! LOL! My DD came out with the camera to take a picture. She says its dumb, but will take a few more pictures too. So see ya later. Keep checking out the pics. Will have another one up in about 1 hour. So far, it took only 20 mins to do 300 walking lunges.

I don't see the arms flapping :) Anyway in case you didn't see my post I am doing the super tough rotation you e-mailed me.

So in reguards what you ssid to kali-Should she run everyday and skip the cardio workouts or vary the two from day to day?

Yes I am flapping them! Look again. The old man across the road was standing by his front door watching. Now I really have a reputation. And I got to live next door to him for a long time. OMG! Then I had to listen to DD keep saying, "mom this is sooooo gay...soooooo gay"! LOL! Now I got to go finish until I get to 1000.

I also think Kali should do a combination of running and cardio. Maybe she should just do the rotation I gave you, what do you think? Let her see it and she can decide.

Hey Ladies.

Yeah, I've been kinda busy myself but I've been peeking in on you ladies when I have the chance! ;)

I am about 500 cals under my quota for today still and I just ate something! x( I have to feed Joey at 6:30 so I guess I will eat something else when I am done and see how close I can come. If I can get within 100 cals I'll consider it a success and move on to a deficit day tmrw!

My DH came home from work, sat on his butt for an hour or so and then took right off to help a friend move. Lord knows when he'll be home. I'm kinda ticked. x( He never even picked Joey up while he was home. He lifted a finger to do NOTHING and then ran out the door to help friends who, quite frankly, aren't very good when it comes to helping my DH out when he needs something. They make him wait, blow him off, etc., yet he still jumps when they call. It irritates me because I feel he is being taken advantage of! The worst part is that he'll probably be "jumping" for them on and off ALL weekend!!! x( x( x(

Ok, I'm done venting...I must remember the folks down south...my problems are nothing compared to thiers!

Hey, just got back from a 30 min walk with Joey and as cool as it seemed to be when I first started out...boy did I work up a sweat! I feel like I need another shower and I just took one a couple hours ago! x(

I also did Intervals 4-7 of Lowmax this afternoon. I did not do abs today. I will do a section of Coremax (and hopefully stretchmax) tomorrow instead-it's my rest day tmrw.

If Joey cooperates maybe I'll do stretchmax tonight too. :)

I usually go visit w/my mom on friday nights but she was working late today so she is probably just about getting home now...by the time I would get there (it's 30 mins away), I would visit for only an hour or so and I'd be tired and ready to head home so it's not worth going tonight. I will be seeing her at some point this weekend though I am sure. Joey insists on it! ;) :+ :)

Well, gotta go eat AGAIN! lol

You can run!!!! WTH? I thought I couldn't either once. I was lucky enough to have a friend nearby that insisted that I run with her. Back then, I had a jello butt and was embarrassed as everything was jiggling, but I still kept going. She gave me bright green shorts to wear too. Oh, I must have been a sight! Anyhow, I had to stop alot, but I remember this one day around the track, my friend kept telling me to keep pushing it as I was running beside her. I did and went around twice. I never smelled so bad in my life, and it was a great accomplishment! Don't say you CAN'T. You know, when I get out there to run each time, I feel like sometimes I cannot do it and I become alittle nervous because I set high standards for myself and scared if I think I can't make it so sometimes I just have what I call "fighting days" when I have to fight for what I want. I hate those days, but I am not going to say "I can't" or quit. Quitting is not an option. Doing your best is. All you can do is your best, but you have to try it first. You have legs, so you can run. Your not handicapped so you have no excuse. Just work your way up gradually. Do 1 mile without stopping and then 2, etc. Just keep going! Running is the best way to burn fat. Sure there is other Cathe workouts, but you will burn more by running. JMHO

YEAY! I just entered my cals that are in my final meal for the evening and I have made my quota! Thank goodness! :7

Hey Charlotte~~~ I also don't think I can run...I have never been able to in the past despite all of the aerobic exercise I have done through the years. I have considered trying it with all of the running motivation I could get here. There are so many that run but it will be hard for me to try b/c I am with Joey all day alone..I'd have to wait for DH to get home to try it and that won't always work out w/having to make dinner and all...BUMMMER! :(

Ok. Ok. I will try. I will walk and then I will run some. Then walk some etc. One of the schools right near my house has a track so I'll go there. I usually walk the Main St. but I'll try it tomorrow morning.

Wendy, are you still up? I am bored this friday night :( I like your new weight thing :) I went out for dinner tonight and ate healthy. Now I am thinking of doind a light cardio as I can't think of anything to do. I am too antsy to read. I did bodymax today and abs. Maybe I will do a pub biceps tonight. I love working those!

Hey Terri, I don't know if you are still around but I am up...unfortunately. I went to sleep at midnight and tossed and turned for an hour...finally gave up and got out of bed. x( I am drinking a cup of decaf green tea and waiting to get sleepy....
 
Yeah I am up too. I just did biceps from the gymstyles and now I am drinking water and diet soda. I swear i drink so many fluids it is ridiculous! It is only 11 here in Denver and I am not even tired. I am going out tomorrow night to see the 40 year old virgin and then go play pool. Since my vacation I am so bored with everyday life..LOL
