Happpy Friday Ladies!

Well Charlotte. I failed. I went for an hour walk and did only 500 crunches. Well I guess that's better than none. How did you do?

We have a funeral this morning it's just a service at the funeral home so it will be nice and short. I plan on doing MIS later on today.

How are we all doing today? I'm doing better. I was down yesterday with my niece going away to school and DH's Aunt passing away and then getting that letter from my little guy's teacher. What an emotional day.
But I'm OK now. ;-) Gonna eat a little something and get ready for the service. I'll be back later.

Kinda down myself this morning (see moment of truth check-in for explanation). Hoping I will cheer up as the day progresses.

Cardio is up for today. Maybe SB?? Not sure yet...

Alright Wendy. Cheer up. You need to pick one day a week don't weigh and measure yourself till then. Do not be discouraged. I know you are. This is what Marla told me. Stick to your current rotation. If you don't see any results, we change it. So I stuck with it for what 7 weeks and it wasn't till around the 4th week did I see ANY change in my weight. Give it a chance Girlfriend. You know I love ya. Now take care of Joey and have a great workout. Why don't you do SB and some of L&G's w/o weights? I know you're concerned about your legs. Or SB and just some freestyle leg work. Try 3 or 4 sets of 15-20 rep exersizes. Maybe that'll help.

Well it wasn't too hard crawling out of bed this morning as I thought it would be after running 6 miles and not use to it. No problems. I feel fine and my hips don't bother me this time. I did not get in the crunches yet. As a matter of fact, I was going to just go ahead and do upperbody this morning and ya know, I could not even budge the 45 pounds to curl. Just too early and I need to be well fueled before I take on heavy weights. That is why I like to do them later in the day. For crunches, I can do anytime, I know, but will have to do them later as my son is nagging me right now to go to the Mall.

Good morning, ladies!

Today I am planning on doing RS combo 1 for a warmup followed by IMAX2. Not sure if I can get through the whole workout (this will be my first time getting past interval 1, lol). We'll see.

Wendy, I am sorry to hear you are feeling blue. Hang in there. Weight is a stubborn thing. I only measure myself once a month, otherwise I would be crazy!

Kali, hope you are feeling better.

Charlotte, you are so inspiring! Your arms are looking SO awesome!

Jessica, how did your interviews go??

I'm in better spirits now. I guess I walked off some of the negative energy and I am being constructive around the house so that always makes me feel good about myself. Once I exercise I should be ALL better...atleast until Tuesday when I get on the scale again! LOL! :p

Gosh this day has flown by!

Joey is napping. I am hoping it a long one so that I can get through my work out before he wakes up. He has been sleeping about 30 mins already....

Hey Wendy! Glad your in a better mood. Walking does wonders doesn't it?

The funeral was very sad but went well. On a high note I did get a few compliments from DH's family I haven't seen about slimming down.:)

On a low note, one of DH's cousins just took our Harley for a ride and DROPPED IT! He's ok thank God. But our bike isn't. I know we need to not be resentful and forgive people it is only a bike. But the guy hasn't ridden in years. He had no business taking it for a ride. And DH is an A** for offering it to him and I let him know that. We can barely afford the thing as it is. Now half the new crap he just bought and put on needs to be replaced. At least his cousin said send him the bill. You better believe he's gonna get the bill! Jerk.
Ok. Thanks for letting me vent. I have to go down my MIL's now and see this guy so I had to get that out of my system so I don't drop him! It's behind me. LOL!

Hi, ladies:

I did the first five intervals of IMAX2 and then the abs from C&W. I was pleasantly surprised that most of the step moves were familiar ones I've done in other workouts, so I think my move back through Cathe's older stuff than trying to start here really worked out. Next time I hope to do the entire workout!

Kali, sorry about the bike, but it could always be worse, right?? My SO also has a Harley, but he is so crazy about the thing I don't think anyone else will EVER ride it! lol It is a great stress reliever for him and it gets him out of my hair so I can work out, so I like it, too. :) I keep threatening to turn into a biker chick, though. LOL :p

Wendy, I'm glad you're feeling better!

I'm back...I just did SB-everything but the blasts. I did the challenge and ff'd the blasts. I was never a fan of the blasts in the first place (for whatever reason) so this worked out well for me! I burned up 552 cals in 41 minutes! YIPPEE! :7

I'm low on my cal count today...only roughly had 1/2 of my required calories and it's already 4:30pm! I may have to do a high cal snack or 2 before and/or after dinner to get me to where I need to be!

Marie-Isn't IMAX 2 just sooo evil but fun!? }(

Kali-Oh what a freakin' sin to drop a HARLEY! That boy should be shot! LOL :p I'm glad he's payin' for the damage. It's only right.

Oh my gosh, thank you...thank you, but at the same time I am half laughing and crying! I am having a hard time finding strength today. I can't lift today. I don't know what the heck is wrong with me. Well, yeah I do! Running 6 miles yesterday is something I am not use to yet. Anyhow, I just feel very tired. My mind is telling me to do it, but my body won't cooperate. What's a girl to do???? I think I will have to have another rest day. I don't think my muscles will grow legs and run away from me just for one more day.
What do you think?

I am glad I haven't dropped a Harley. Don't want to be shot by you! LOL!
BTW, I am still going to do my crunches and maybe tomorrow I will wake up feeling like Hercules and grab my weights and tell my barbell where to get off at! LOL!

You must have passed on the blues to me. Seems contagious. Glad you are feeling better now, please pray for me cuz I am not. I am witchy when I feel like a failure since I can't lift diddly do today.

Take a rest day, even 2...TRUST me, your muscles will still be there when you get back to your weights! And they will probably be all the stronger for ya! :)

What's wrong Charlotte? What did I start yesterday!!?? Cheer up. And yes rest.

I'm ok now. Went down the MIL's and DH's cousin was already gone. At least he didn't get hurt. That's all that matters.

Thanks for reminding me Marie that it could've been worse! Let's both become Biker Chicks! We'll be "Catheites on Bikes"! LOL! When we're riding, and someone cuts us off or something, I'm like let me off this bike and I'll kick their freaking asses! And DH says I don't doubt that you could! LOL!

I am right on track for my calories today Wendy. That's only because I ate at the luncheon after the funeral. I had a little bit of Rigatoni (which I normally only eat whole wheat pasta anymore) but I did pass on the mashed potatoes! Hope you get a few more in!

I'm off to do MIS while a TV is available. DH will be on the computer a lot the next few days finding new parts for the bike on E-bay. At least he's a HandyMan/Mechanic, so that he can fix it himself. At least he's got that going for him. LOL. Just kidding.

Hey, Charlotte:

I think you should listen to your body (which is REALLY hard, I know). You don't want to overdo it and risk an injury. Likely your muscles are just so fatigued at this point, but give them some rest and they'll be popping out all over the place!

Seriously, you are so consistent with your workouts and are clearly seeing so many gains, I hope you can remember that on the days when your body has other ideas for activity! Now go take a bubble bath and snuggle up next to the DH!

Kali, I am about 100 cals down after eating dinner so that's not bad. I can have a small snack in a bit that will wipe that right out!

Marie, So tell us more about that promotion! What will you be doing? And you never told us what your new title will be!

Charlotte, My DH's cousin & his family were driving down to your neck of the woods..well, VA anyway. They are going to spend a long weekend in Busch Gardens! How far are you from the park, anyway?

The last time I was at Busch Gardens I was a kid...well young teen and come to think of it I was only there that once...Anyway...I went on the Big Bad Wolf and thought I'd die!!! Then I went on the Lochness Monster-my first ever looping coaster-I was sooo scared I was crying and holding on so tight my hands actually started to fall asleep! LOL After all of that I ended up liking it and wanted to go back on before we left but there was no time. :-( I have gone on a couple loopy coasters since then but as I get older I can't really tolerate that anymore so now I stick to the non-loopers. Plus the fact that I'm not into the craziness of today's coasters. I would go on a coaster with a loop or 2 but today's coasters are just waaay to crazy for this chic! I LOVE coasters! I just wish they had more W/O loops! BBW is BG didn't loop but I think it was the free-swinging motion of the cars that got me ill on that one.

Ok..I'm done babbling on about rollercoasters now! LOL

Where are you...I just want to HUG you! Anyhow, you bet...that is exactly what I am doing. Just finished discussing my country/primitive home on the other thread. Check it out. I have lit alot of candles so my house is smelling like chocolate, apples, and some others I forgot. I like to mix it all up. My DH just got home from Florida after being there for 2 weeks, but yet he is gone AGAIN to take my son to the Redskins game. Be back again tomorrow. I will take the bubble bath though. What a great idea!

Love, love Busch Gardens as we go there alot, but it is not around the corner from me. It is 4 hours away. Going again in October sometime. What a fun place to be. I love when it is done up for Halloween too. I think I will not be riding the rollercoaster rides anymore as it does strange things to my neck and I feel it when I workout. Not worth the risk of injury in my opinion. Just like walking around the park alittle better and eating the yummy food! Italy is my favorite place to eat in there. Best spaghetti ever!

4 hours is a good ride but it's doable. Do you stay for a couple of night every time since the ride is long? I would.

Speaking of amusement parks, my sister is in WDW right now. I'm jealous!:p DH and I were supposed to go in Nov. but our plans got messed up because of DH's job so we cancelled and decided to get pregnant instead! LOL Now we won't be going to WDW for a few years but we do have a 5 day cruise booked for just the 2 of us this Nov to make up for it. Grandma will be watching Joey. :+ He'll be 6 months old by then! WOW!!!

Oh, yes. We have to stay overnight, are you crazy? LOL! Would be too hard on us if we didn't. That is alot of driving after a long day there. WHEW! Dark Castle is cool though, and I mean COOL! I can't imagine going there in the fall without a heavy coat in that Castle. Shivering just thinking about it.
