....Please
I want some variety in my cardio.

Ive got my eye on these, but would like some more suggestions before i purchase anything.

Dance Off The Inches: Sizzling Salsa
Dance Off The Inches: Hip Hop party
Dance w/me 5 day latin Dance system with Lisa Nunziella

I would say im at a intermediate/advanced level in cardio.
Any suggestions i would appreciate, and if anyone reading has any of these...please give me your thoughts on them!
TIA :)

Amelia,

I don't have the first two but I do have Lisa Nunziella's 5-Day Latin System which I really like. Lisa moves at a very brisk pace. Each workout is between 27-31 minutes which includes warmup and cooldown. The warmup and cooldown are the same for each workout but they're good. Kind of like a warmup in a jazz class. Things like isolations.

You get Merengue, Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba and Samba. The Rumba's not much of a calorie burner but is more of a stylized dance. She does a lot of TIFTing. She does a move, then does another move and repeats both moves. Keeps adding a move and then TIFTing.

You'll get a nice variety with these. These are at a more intermediate/advanced level than the other two probably are. Lisa doesn't teach the moves although there is a tutorial.

Amelia,

Also you can find and watch at "Collage video" the DVD's you might want to purchase. Just put in Salsa, Brazilian, or Africa dance to be searched and it brings up the dances you requested. You can then see clips of each one you might be interested in.

There are also instructional DVD's as well.

Lisa also has a hip hop dance.

I don't limit my dance to just one style, I use them all. Most are intermediate, but some are inter/adv. The beginning ones I wouldn't buy, because they just aren't that challenging to me.

Hope this helps,

Janie
