Suggestions on good place to get teen bedrm furniture.

We are giving my teenaged daughter's bunk beds away. I am looking at PB Teen for furniture for her...I got my dining room set there and have been happy with it....(except for the bench...but that's another story).

Do you have any other suggestions of good, reasonably priced places that have decent furniture?

thanks.

Guess it depends on your finances ... I love Pottery Barn and also got my dining room furniture there as well as a couple other pieces. However, obviously, the stuff isn't cheap. IKEA has fun stuff that's quite inexpensive. Our bedroom furniture and our kids' bedroom furniture was from there. We've had ours for about 14 years. You kind of get what you pay for - ours has held up but I wouldn't try loading it in a moving truck! Thought about getting nicer stuff for my kids so they could "keep" it, but I know when I moved out of my mom's house I had no interest in that 70s stuff! Of course now it's probably "retro" and in style!

After looking for a good solid wood desk for my son, I became frustrated with the prices. We ended getting up getting a solid wood desk from craigs list.

Thanks for the replies...I like Ikea, but DH said "no" to Ikea...He calls it disposable furniture...even though we have gotten a few chairs and bookshelves there which have held up pretty well.

I will give a check out to rooms to go and see what they have too.

Also, Craigslist is good idea...

thanks Cathletes!
