Suggestions for Vacation Tapes

My husband and I are leaving in 13 days for a two week vacation in British Columbia and Alberta (for all you Canadians who post here - you do live in paradise!). A couple of the places we are staying have VCRs and I'd like to take some Cathe tapes along. I won't have access to a step or weights (last year I snuck some of my weights into the luggage and let's just say my husband won't let that happen again

) and am trying to figure out how I can improvise. Have you folks taken tapes on vacation and if so, which ones worked best? Has anyone tried doing Cathe's strength tapes with tubes or bands or is that a bad idea?

Any suggestions from the educated crowd would be greatly appreciated.

Janet

P.S. I'm definitely taking the new Kickbox tape and Karen Voights Pure and Simple Stretch and Scott Cole's Millenium Stretch - we'll be doing lots of hiking so the stretching will be extra welcome.

running from grizzlies isn't enough?

I think you have enough (from someone who loses weight on vacations). Enjoy the hiking. If you feel your upper-body is neglected, throw in some push-ups & tricep dips. I throw in an exer-tube or band but never use it. Early on, I do abs but then I remember it's a vacation.

Oh, & I agree, western Canada is beautiful. Not to "dis" eastern Canada, I've never been there.
