I am pasting a post that I made in another forum. It was pointed out to me that it really belongs here.

As much as I love Cathe's workouts, after doing them for so long, I am starting to get that "ho hum" feeling. I have alot of DVD's, just about most of the step ones anyway. I have found to keep it fresh and new, that turning down the volume on my tv and turning up my sound system with my own playlists blaring loudly really makes it all fresh for me. This just totally gets me going with so much renewed energy. Its amazing how much I am enjoying it! Even the older DVD's like "Low Max" that I know so well seem new again with the exception that I know the moves like the back of my hand while enjoying the music. I am a music lover no doubt.

What I would like to see happen in the future is the ability to cut the music out of the background on Cathe's DVD's and only be able to hear her cuing as an option. This would be great because even though I know most of the DVD's that I have very well, I would still like to hear Cathe. This is not really possible now. if i turn down the volume on my tv enough to not hear the music, I can't hear Cathe. Cathe, would this be possible to record these workouts like this? Could we possibly do our own custom tunes? I am so enjoying Michael Jackson's "Rockin' Robin" and "ABC", as well as Guns N Roses "knocking on Heavens Door" and so many other songs while doing my workout. I do think that Cathe has everyone beat in DVD workouts as far as getting a good workout and not to mention that she also already has the best music, but change is good. I change my itunes playlist every other day sometimes for my workouts. I don't know about everyone else, but without music that I llke, I don't think that I could get a very effective workout. Music is what makes it happen for me and gets me going even on days when my energy level is low.

That's a great idea. I was thinking it would be nice if each dvd told you what the bpm were for each section of the workout, since you can buy those cds with pop remakes all at a certain bpm range. I thought about figuring this out myself on all my dvds so I could use my own music but never got around to it.
