sugar,carbs,fat

i am very confused! i have alot of ?'s to ask.
how are sugar,carbs,and fat related? which is worse-alot of carbs or alot of sugar?are mono and poliunsaturated fat good for u?people ask me why i am cutting back on these things and i don't have a straight answer to give. i asume eating clean means rarely having sugar and eating more protein,and the required amoubt of veg.,and fruit.please help!

It is hard to just say what is good and bad everything is good for you in moderation. May I suggest the south beach diet book? It has a all the info you need with out having to make you feel like I need to count this or that. Good luck!
 
Sugar & gluten (breads, pasta) are pretty much the main source of carbs in anyone's diet.

Your body has two sources of energy--carbs & fat, & it burns carbs first. So when you lessen your carb intake your body is forced to burn fat for energy. A simplistic explanation but that's basically the relation.
