substitution for IMAX2

Cathe,

I am pretty new to your workouts. I was wondering what to do in place of IMAX2. I know IMAX2 is an advanced workout and I thought it best to start with another workout, unless you think it would be ok to start with IMAX2. Advice? Suggestions?

I'm not Cathe, of course, but I would like to say, I love Imax2. It's challenging, yes, but it is so much fun and has great music. If I were you, I would ease into it and do either Intervals 1-5 or 6-10...and, modify, modify, modify.

Thank you! I have read that everyone loves it but I just didn't know if it would be too much to start with. I will give it a shot and see how I do.
 
When I first started with Imax2 I only did interval 1-5 and used the step in the 4" position...no risers and I modified the moves if needed. This made it easier for me and you will find that you will quickly advance. Go for it.
 
I am probably too late here, but you could always try CTX Step and Intervals as a substitution. It is still and interval workout, but has fewer intervals (I think 3, though I have not done it in a while).
 
THE CARDIO OF BOOTCAMP OR THE STEP AND INTERVALS OF CTX. THE STEP OF BODYMAX IS HARD TOO.HOPE THIS HELP. :) :) :)
