Substituting gym time for exercises

This is my dilemma. I have time during my 2hr lunch break to go to the gym. Is it ok if I do some of the exercises for the disc using the book at the gym and then the remainder of the exercises on the disc when I get home. I would be using machines for the inner/outer thighs, leg press, doing some lunges at the gym. I would still be doing the 1RM thing with the weights.
I'm just pressed for time and don't know if the sequence of the exercise is going to make a difference in my results. Or are the results the amount of sets etc. I would still be pushing the short breaks in between etc.
Thanks,
Erika:)

By no means an expert - but I get the impression that part of the effectiveness comes in the sequence, the exact rest period, and reps.

Probably not what you want to hear...

I think getting a wo in is more important than the order. Besides part of the beauty of sts is doing something different every time. You are just mixing it up a little more.
