STS / Tower

I finally bought STS and was planning on starting January 1st (I work out Sat to Thurs) but my friend won't drop off the tower (I shipped to his cottage for cheaper rates) until January 11.

My question is, how soon will I need the tower for chin ups or any other exercises right away or can I start the program because I won't need the tower for the first few weeks?

You can go to the Workout Manager and view the exercises for each day of the rotation to see what you'll be doing and that might help you make your decision.

The 2nd day of the rotation does have chinups and pullups in it. If you're anxious to get started, you can always substitute another exercise.

I think the tower really becomes the most useful in meso II (and of course meso III) when you start doing chest presses with the barbell. (In meso I you do a LOT of push-ups for the chest work). You can do band work for the pull ups chin ups for the 1-2 weeks. Or alternatively you can just use one of those door way bars for chin ups and pull ups, that's what I used the first time I did STS. And then it is nice to leave up because you can easily throw in a pull up or chin up when you walk through the door. :D
