STS might just be my ticket to a better winter!

Hi everyone

I've finally received my STS workouts on Friday and previewed them over the weekend. I am inspired!

Now only to get the body to be willing to co-operate....

Usually I tend to slack off during the winter cause I work much longer hours then...leave home at 6:00 in the morning and only get back at 21:00. As I'm a single mum my first priority in the morning is usually not exercise...but rather getting my kids (aged 4 and 8) ready to drop of at school. If I want to fit in exercise I have to rise at 3:30...which, of course is doable, but not nice! Surviving on 5 hours sleep and working 70-80 hours a week does not come naturally for me!

But this is where STS come in....I actually look forward :D to getting up to do the workouts! But I have to admit...I am struggling to stay awake the rest of the day....these workouts do take a lot of energy!!! ;) I know hanging in there will make it easier in the end...so I am very optimistic that this winter I will be able to keep up my fitness - Thanx to Cathe and awesome STS!

Wow, good for you for making the time (even that early) for yourself! That is a tough schedule ! STS really is such a great workout.

Amanda, are you trying to kill yourself??
Goodness.. your schedule sounds scary, girl! Dont burn the candle from both ends, you know how they say.
Good luck to you! You are very inspiring! :)

Amanda, from one single mom to another......YOU ROCK, girlfriend! I workout early also, hitting my basement workout area at 5:15am ish. I also get about 5 hours of sleep, and at first it was hard, but then my body adjusted and I figured out what I needed to do mid-day to get thru that hump and make it to bedtime without crashing!!!

Great job!

Gayle

Hi Gayle

Thanx for the motivation. Knowing you are doing it helps me to keep on trying! What advice do you have for keeping up my energy levels? Late afternoon and early evening is the worst. I travel along a rather deserted and dangerous farm road every night and not falling asleep behind the wheel is a major priority! Once I get home and start running around after the kids to get them fed and bathed and ready for bed I'm fine.
