STS leg work...

So anyone ever do a full STS rotation but sub in other work outs for the leg work? I am considering do this. I am getting STS for my B'day (this week) but am petrified of the leg work. My legs are thick and build muscle easily. I want to thin them out not bulk them up. Things like BBL and Tonique work best for me so I was thinking of doing my own leg work. How is the rotation set up? Are legs done on their own day?

Yes, there is a separate day for leg work so you certainly can sub out whatever leg workout you like. Personally, I LOVE the leg work in STS, and my legs didn't bulk at all, but YMMV.
 
TYVM. It will be very easy for me to do my own thing on leg day then. Awesome! :D I will try STS with the leg work as in one day but not now. Going on vacation in July and don't want to take the chance! :eek:
 
Wendy, I am doing an STS/Tonique rotation right now and really loving it!! I've just finished the second week of meso 1. So far I've just done tonique for the leg work, but I may sub in some BBL here and there, too. I'm also counting Tonique as cardio, and I'm condensing the rotation where I rotate the three on a two day on, one day yoga type thing, for instance:

day 1: chest/shoulders/biceps
day 2: back/tri
day 3: yoga
day 4: tonique
day 5: chest/shoulders/biceps
day 6: yoga
day 7: back/tri
day 8: tonique
day 9: yoga

etc. I'm absolutely loving it and having great results! I know it may be a bit unorthodox to some, but it's really working for me and every day I'm so psyched for whatever I'm doing. I'm adding in walks where I can, and I may try to work in some cardio dvds here and there, or a run.

Oh, and I also tend to get huge quads, and my legs are really benefiting from laying off the weighted leg work and focusing more on the glutes/hamstrings.
 
I have to becareful with my legs too but sts actually made them shrink. I did not have the squat rack so I did the other leg option (forgot the name).. really liked how meso 2 make them look.
 
I'm definitely thinking of a BBL/Tonique mixture for leg day during my first STS round. After vacation I'll flirt with the leg work that's included in the series.
