STS - chicks Friday Feb 6th

Today was my cardio day. I did LIC cardio PM and then 25 min of spinning. My legs were still tired feeling after doing the plyo legs 2 days ago! My glutes and inner thighs still hurt. As far as DOMS from Disc 1 it seems I got them where everyone else did, the lats. I know my shoulders felt worked yesterday, I'm thinking the different shoulder exercises in disc 1 is what caused these DOMS. And they were fun!

I too had issues with the paper plates using them on a berber carpet, I think I'm going to try plastic plates. I've tried the furniture movers my sis had but they didn't work too well for me and I think it's because they were all scuffed up from her using them to actually use them for moving furniture. What was she thinking???!?!?!

Finished disc 3 and wts and plate abs. Can someone come carry me back upstairs???:eek: I def had some cardio kicking in on disc 3, but it was fun. A lot of different moves, not just squat/lunge/squat/lunge for an hour. I liked it. And my shoulders liked it, not having to hoist a barbell up and down. The wts and plates abs was tough. I made it thru the wt section, but thought I was going to revisit my lunch a couple times. ew. The plates were good til about half way thru. I can't figure out the pike things on the floor, it seems as though my arms are too short or my legs are too long to get it all the way up. I like theses better on the ball. But I suppose it'll come with practice. It also seems to be bugging my wrist issue, so I only did about half of the reps on the last half of the plate section. It'll come with time, and even just practicing and perfecting the moves takes work. I was feelin' it, so something is going on. I still would love to enjoy the day and go for a run while the weather is nice, but I don't think my legs are going to have it. Perhaps to tomorrow. Besides, I need to clean the bathroom, and we all know how much fun that is;)

Hi everyone!!!
Just finished disc 3 legs....my legs are not strong either!!
I had a hard time with the touchdown squats...could not use weight also my balance is horrible!! I had trouble with ball squats with weight could not get to the floor to get weights but I still had a great workout my legs are sore and shakin. I had to go upstairs to get my son out of his crib I could barely walk down carrying him! Maybe it's my imagination but my legs and glutes feel tighter already!!

OH! How could I forget to add... LOVED finally "seeing" Cedie on the workouts this week! I've missed her!

She's always so strong, and never seems to grimace... she smiles and counts!

I'm definitly going to be interested in how all our legs feel tomorrow!!
 
Hi Everyone!

Sorry I missed the past couple of days but I got really busy at work. Anyway I did disc 2 yesterday and DM Cardio today. Tomorrow I am going to do legs and from the sound of things I will be feeling it.
 
My butt and my quads are sore already. I may be crying tomorrow! On top of that my lats are sore!?!?! I don't know if that is from yesterday's KPC or STS the day before? I'm not sure about doing DM tomorrow. I may want to just stretch.

One of the previous posters mentioned how nice it was to not use a BB. I loved that too.:)

Catherine, I didn't use any special system for my 1RMs. There are still a few out there that I didn't do. I just did what I felt like at the time.

Tracy, I hope that your DS is better.:D

oh, I didn't really do the wall squats. I don't have a wall easily available to me that will allow me to see the tV as I do the exercise. I'll have to find a spot elsewhere.
