Morning...

Sorry but I had to leave out the GOOD today. Nothing like having DOMS and body aches from a fever at the same time. UGH! :( That truck that hit me as mentioned in y'day's post apparently decided to back up and do it again b/c as the day went on it got worse! I went to bed at 7:30 last night and basically slept for 12 hours. When I got up this morning I thought I might be feeling better but after 10 minutes on my feet making coffee and washing dishes that truck came back for me! Waaaahhhh! :(

I purchased PT insurance last night while I was comatose on the couch (that's just prior to being comatose in the bed!:p)and was looking forward to (though nervous as hell and scared to death at the same time!:eek:) trying my hand at exercise demonstration this morning at the pt studio but it's just not going to happen. :( I am usually not sick for very long though so I should be good to go for Monday night. Fingers crossed!!!!

Needless to say...no work out for me today. Probably not much of anything for me today. We were planning on going shopping at the outlets by us today if it was nice out and man it's beautiful out there! I can't go feeling the way I do though! This just sucks! GRRRRRR!!!!!:mad:

Ok, I'm done whining for now. Hope you ladies have a better Saturday then I am likely to have and I'll BBL!

Friday's workout was Lower Body Fusion, Saturday's(today) was Tko this am & Bicep Builder later in the day. I have really enjoyed JNL so far, very efficient workouts. I always start to get tired as I get closer to the end of the dvd. She gets alot done in a short period of time.

Wendy: I am so sorry to hear you are feeling so awful :(, I hope it doesn't last long. Whatever it is it really hit you hard. Take care of yourself, try not to do much more than rest. Great workouts you put together, don't forget to write them down.

Katie: Nice mix & match you put together!! :) Sorry you hurt your back, how's it feeling today? I hope you're taking it easy.:cool:

Good Morning. :)

Well y'day turned out much better then anticipated! I had to miss the PT Studio but before 11 am I started to feel better and ended up having a great day! We did some shopping and went out to dinner for my Birthday.

I ordered a pair of Adidas Adipure Lace Trainers last night for my B'day from DH. Tried to find them y'day but couldn't find them in ANY of the half a dozen stores we hit! WTH!?! :confused: I didn't want to order them online because I've never tried them on so IDK what size I am but apparently I have no choice....??

I also bought a hot tools deep wave curler at Ulta compliments of my DH. Can't wait to try it out! I'll probably play with it at some point today! :)

No work out to report yet for today but it's going to happen so I'll be back with it once it does!

Wiggie:: Yay for loving JNL! Yes, she sure does pack a punch in a short period of time! Enjoy your Sunday!:)

Well, I think the truck that hit Wendy decided to make its way to Kentucky and hit me as well. I feel awful. I think it's a fun combination of a cold and a sinus infection. I'm prone to strep throat, but i've checked my throat several times and don't see the tell-tale white spots. No workout for me today. I have no energy at all, and my body aches. I think it's best to rest. Work tomorrow is still debatable.

Yesterday, before I started feeling bad, I did Patrick's Lean Hot Body. It's always a good workout. As usual, I added in a 10-30 second rest between each circuit to grab a drink of water and catch my breath.

Wendy: Happy Birthday!!!!!!! Glad you're feeling better and you had a great day yesterday! No one should be sick on her on birthday. :) Ooohhh, those shoes look fun! I can't wait to hear what you think. Good luck tomorrow night at the pt studio! Are you going to try out any of the awesome workouts you've been designing lately? Have you got your official license yet?

Wiggie: Nice job with JNL! Another great review. Ugh. You know what that means, right? I'm gonna have to purchase it eventually. First Combat, then JNL. :) I love that you describe them as efficient. Lots done in little time = Katie's fav. ;) My back is feeling better. Thank you for asking. :) I hurt it a while back and honestly it's never been the same. Oh well! I just take care of it best I can.

Stability ball prone roll outs (12 reps)
Tube chops left (12 reps)
Spiderman mountain climbers on the Bosu (12 reps)
Butterfly crunches (24 reps)

4 rounds of:
Modified pull ups on the Body Press (8 reps)
Stability ball/Perfect Push Ups Decline push ups (8 reps)

3 rounds of:
Modified pull ups on the Body Press (8 reps)
Seated Rear Delt Flys (15 reps)

2 rounds of:
Firewalkers (24 reps/4 left, 4 right, etc)
Sliding Rear Lunges - Left (12 reps)
Sliding Rear Lunges - Right (12 reps)
Stability Ball Glutes Bridges - Start sitting on ball w/10# DB in lap, roll out to bridge position, squeeze glutes and hold for 10 count, roll back up to sitting position keeping weight in lap the entire time = 1 rep (8 reps)
4 count Deadlifts (12 reps)

4 rounds of:
Torso rotations with Body Bar on shoulders (16 reps)
Squat and alternating side leg lifts with bar on shoulders and firewalker loop around ankles (16 reps)

40 "fancy" Burpees - loop on ankles/med ball pick up with bicep curl and overhead press. :D

Heavy Barbell Plie Squats (16 reps)
Heavy Bent arm side laterals (16 reps)

1 set of Bent arm side laterals w/light weight to failure.

3 rounds of:
Heavy Barbell Deadlifts (16 reps)
Heavy Front raise (32 reps alternating=16 per arm)

1 set of Front raise (both arms at same time) w/light weight to failure.

10 burpees
10 swings right
10 swings left
10 burpees
30 alternating weighted jabs
10 burpees
30 alternating weighted upper cuts

20 med ball torso rotations right
20 med ball torso rotations left
50 alternating butterfly crunches
15 tube chops right
15 tube chops left

Good morning!!

Sunday's workout was Lean Legs & Crazy Circuit Cardio, this time back to back!:eek: I worked almost 5 hours yesterday & didn't get around to working out until 5. If I didn't do them both right then I probably would have done just one.:eek:

Wendy: Happy Birthday to you!! :) So glad you felt better so you & DH could enjoy it! I like those shoes, though I've never heard of them. I have some cheap Filas made like those, they are really comfortable to workout in, even when I do plyo. Yours seem to be better quality, let me know how you like them. Another great routine you put together, looks crazy tough, good job!!

Katie: I know we're friends but do we have to share everything?:p:D I certainly hope that truck doesn't come to SC!! I hope you're feeling better today. IKWYM about JNL, I was hoping Wendy wouldn't like it. Hey, I might actually finish a rotation, imagine that!!:p

I was just thinking about our thread name, at some point we will all be doing some JNL & Wendy's workouts could also be classified as fusion, how abot Foxy Fusionistas? If you like it go ahead & rename us now before someone steals it!;)

That's a funky kewl name you came up with for our check-in, Wiggie! Very creative!:) I've seen and tried on Fila's version of those shoes at Kohl's but they don't fit right. One size is too small and the next is too big. :confused: Just as well though coz that's my excuse for purchasing the more expensive pair! ;)Now I just hope I like them! :eek: Great work outs for you! So you like JNL enough that you might do her ENTIRE rotation!? WOW! Now that's impressive! :p

I got home late yesterday so no workout for me!:eek: Don't faint Ladies, I worked out this morning!!:eek: It was only for 10 minutes though. I did the 10 Minute Total Body from JNL. It hit every body part, I will do this as a circuit in the future & do it 2 or 3 times back to back.

Wendy: So you like the name, I hope Katie likes it too. I thought you'd be impressed that I might complete a rotation!!:p:D:)

Afternoon gals,

I'm feeling a little bit better this morning, so I did 4DS: Double Cardio Premix. I kept the high impact, but admittedly didn't jump as high as usual. I also made it to work today, but i'm starting to feel run down so I think i'm going to go home early and rest. I did attempt a little yoga yesterday, but it wasn't much.

Wiggie: Your sharing comment made me LOL yesterday. Thanks for that. :) Last I checked Wendy's truck-of-death is heading north, so you're safe. :p;) I'm cool with the name; very creative and fun! WTG working out in the AM. Any workout is better than no workout. ;) Fingers crossed you complete your JNL rotation. You can do it, I have faith. :)

Wendy: Just reading your workouts makes me tired. ;) You've definitely put together some goodies. Keep those creative juices following! Any word yet on your PT license? Thanks for the well-wishes. I hate being sick. It doesn't happen often, and when it does I turn into a big ole' baby. :eek::rolleyes:

My mom picked me up and took me out for lunch today so I didn't have time to post like I normally would. So I got personally delivered flowers, a birthday balloon and a card from DH today at work and now every woman in the office wants to marry him.;):p

This morning's work out was short n sweet but still a goody!

32 reps of tube chops while seated on a stability ball (16 per side) + 16 reps of slow oblique mountain climbers on the stability ball x 3 rounds

then...

10 burpees + 10 alternating one arms swings + 10 bear crawls x 3 rounds

30 mins from warm up through stretch. :D

I officially requested the Friday before Memorial Day off from work today because AC here we come! WOOT WOOT! :D

Work continues to be busy busy but I love it. The weeks FLY BY now! It's pretty freakin' awesome! :cool:

So if you recall, I had to miss the PT Studio on Saturday morning when I was supposed to demonstrate the exercises. So y'day I thought I'd be demonstrating instead. Well wouldn't ya know it, y'day was the day he decided to switch up the work outs so no demonstrating for me now until I observe and/or participate in the new ones a few times. :rolleyes: Of all the times to get sick! :mad:

Wiggie:: A 10 min work out is 10 mins more then most people do! Good for you! :) That little 10 min work out sure packs a punch too! It's not for sissies!

Katie:: Glad you are starting to feel better. Don't over do with your work outs though and have a relapse! I'm sorry I got you sick. I guess the virus protection on your computer wasn't working properly! :p I actually emailed WITS to find out when I'd be receiving my cert and was told it was scheduled to be mailed out today so hopefully I'll have it by the end of the week! :D

Wiggie/Katie:: So who ever starts the new thread tmrw for the month of May now has the challenge of remembering to change the thread name while the other 2 have to remember to look for the right name! This could be bad!!!! LMAO! :p
