STS Body Rockers - Week of August 7th

Hey gang!

Did back & biceps today, and am thinking I need to get some 20## dumbbells- in 20+ years of working out at home, I have never had that need, in fact, my 15# dumbbells would often go unused, and stay shiny and new in my weight box! This is pretty cool!

Wendy- thanks, I appreciate the insight, I'm not whining about WW anymore, just moving on, eating more protein, getting my milk & oils in too. Today was a good day, if I string enough good days together, things are bound to give.

Kris- I don't have anything to offer for spin bike advice, I just use what the Y has- but I am considering spinning shoes- hmmmm. I also appreciate your WW wisdom- planning on leaving the WP's alone and only eating my DP's, maybe dipping into the AP's (That's alot of letters!)

Katie, Kiki & Autumn- thinking of you!

Good Morning (barely at this point though! LOL)!

Did BR from Aug 11 (12 mins) + CTX shoulders + 5 mins of jumping rope this morning. Good stuff.

Bridget:: ITA that it's a great feeling to know you need to go out and buy heavier weights!!!! Good for you! :D

Kris:: MMA Boxing, huh? Weighted gloves?? ;)
 
great spinning morning, good WW day- I'm making an effort to add more dairy, garbanzo beans to my salads & soup, chicken breast- and I'm adding 2 tsp of olive oil to salads- I feel so rich, I hope that it doesn't come back to bite me in the backside...

Great spinning song- Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith (played really loud!)

Good morning everyone:)

Totally spaced checking in yesterday :eek: Pretty low key exercise day for me yesterday anyway - did a Stetchmax section and AC Yoga. Today - I started Meso 3! :eek: I really liked Disc 25 - the push/pull with chest/back. The time in between didn't seem toooooo long, wasn't sure about that. I also did Cardio PM from Cardio and Weights.

Bridget - congrats on a good ww day and on your spinning!:D I love that song :) Hope STS Legs went great! I added some 20 lb weights to my collection recently - never would have thought I'd need them - feels awesome huh?

Wendy - Sounds like a fun workout for you yesterday! And... ummm... no weighted gloved with MMA boxing the other day:eek:

Good Afternoon Girls.

Did CTX Chest and abs from All Step this morning. Skipped cardio. May do some later. Not sure as I'm feeling like I might be coming down with something. :(

Headed out into my yard before with my little guy for some sun while he played in his pool. Maybe the extra vit D will keep me healthy?? LOL Taking extra Vit C. Hopefully it works!

Kris:: Push pull in M3 shortens the rest periods a bit so I'm sure it's more tolerable for those of you who don't like the really long rests. I loved them though! :D

Speaking of rests...I think I need a little food and then a little nap...BBL!:)
 
STS legs today, week 3 Meso 2. Did not push the weight today, if anything there was a little voice telling me to blow off the third tricet- I didn't listen. I was surprised and pleased that I was almost able to stand on one foot and do the calf work- still cannot do sit & slides with one foot.

Wendy- got some vitamin D myself at the beach today, unfortunately I think the sunscreen was counterfeit and I am so burned- grr. Stay healthy!

Kris- I'm a few weeks behind you on STS- are there pushups again in Meso 3? I may go to Dicks tomorrow to shop for #20's
