<---STS 6 Monther Alumni - Week of 5/2/10***--->

Cendrine! I can't wait to hear how the shoes work for you! Glad they fit! We'll miss you while you're away - hope you can sneak a note in to us once in a while (assuming you have access to a computer!).

Rachel, tonight I'm watching last night's episode of LOST.

DH brought home some fresh cod tonight and it was so good! There's nothing like fresh fish! DH fixed it with some fish rub we had and we steamed cauliflower, asparagus and broccoli. My kind of dinner! Oh and DH also brought home root beer and ice cream to make root beer floats. He's been talking about a root beer float for a week now and he finally gave in to his desires! LOL! I have never been a fan of root beer or root beer float so I'll be passing!

Okay, talk to you guys tomorrow! Tomorrow night is girls night at the gym: spinning, water aerobics, therapy pool and sauna!

Oh forgot to tell you. I checked out a DVD at the library on swimming to help me improve my breathing and ultimately my swimming! I'll let you know how that goes! (Especially since I suck at swimming...oh yeah we had this discussion and Rachel and I are in the same situation with swimming.)

Talk to you all tomorrow!

Good Morning gals

For some reason it feels like Friday today and I still have Friday and Saturday to work after this so in reality it is more like a Wednesday...Weird huh!

Today I did the MM lower body and it was only 23 min with the streetch and warm up so I added the floor exercise from B&G. It wasn't the hardest leg workout although the legs in MM are intense!

I am sorry I am light on the personals but I promise to catch up over the weekend!

Cendrine- By the time you get done walking all over on your trip in your new shoes, you will probably have abs of steel.

Jo-I never thought about watching a video to improve swimming. YOu are going to have to let me know if it works for you!...lol I do not know how much I would learn that way!

Hi Kim!!!!

I better go get breakfast and this lovely day Started!

Rachel

Good morning, I have the day off work and some time to sip my coffee and catch up:D:D:p DS has running club at 7 am (he's training to do the 5 man relay at the marathon). I'm so proud of him for getting up so early and going running!

I have to confess first that I didn't work out Tuesday or Wednesday:eek::eek: I'm thinking I need a break from the 6 day a week routine. I've done it for years and really enjoy it but need a break from the structure for a short time. I always feel so guilty when I miss a workout. After the March rotation I might just take things day by day or week by week instead a rotation for a short time. Knowing myself I'll be back on a structured rotation soon but a short break form structure will be good.

Monday was MMA Fusion and S & H Legs and I went to watch my 3 yr nephew play soccer. Tuesday we had quite a rainstorm here and I just curled up on the couch and watch TBL. Yesterday was the Grade 4 school play, "101 Dalmations", dd was a puppy, so cute!!!:D

I'm so excited to go grocery shopping today after reading Tosca's Reno's book. I didn't grocery shop last week and kind of let the food run out so I can start fresh today!

Cendrine I'm glad that new shoes fit! Let us know how you like them when you get back! I'm sure that your trip will be wonderful!! How many years since you've been back home??? I'm looking forward to seeing pictures when you get back;)

Rachael You're like me, feeling guilty cause we miss a workout. We should just plan for these rotations to be 5 week rotations and so we have some flexible days for we just can't workout. Is this the last long week at work??? It rained here for 6 days straight! Today we finally have the sun back but it's cooler, it went below freezing last night! We're paying for all the beautiful weather we had in April.

Jo The BOSU sounds like fun. My mom uses one at the gym alot and just raves about it. I have often thought about buying one but just didn't feel like I had the room in our present house Maybe at our new house. I loved this week's TBL! The contestants look great! It was nice to see Stephanie and Sam together at the end, they seem very happy. I wonder if we will see another marriage proposal at the finale?? I hope you find something at Lululemon, our store has a clearance rack and I have got one pair of sweats and one top from it for quite cheap. I still have $50 on my gift card that I got for my birthday so might make a trip back this week.

About the breathing for swimming, remember it's suppose to be a natural breathing pattern. Just inhale when you head is above the water and exhale under the water. Never hold your breathe! Don't change your natural breathing pattern to fit your arm strokes, just turn your head to inhale when it's time for a natural breathe, if it's every stroke , or every second or third. I'm glad that your ankle is feeling better, sounds like it was some kind of tendon tightness. Maybe the Achille's tendon?? Enjoy your girl's night out tonight.

Hi Everyone!

Kim, thanks for that tip on the breathing, no one ever told me that! I thought you had to keep with a stroke rythm or something, always coming up on the same side. If I can come up whenever needed, that will simplify things greatly!

Did you get a picture of dd as the puppy? I'd love to see it , it sounds very cute!
So what are you making this week , now that you are going to go shop 'clean' ?I totally understand that you want to take it easier from workouts for a little bit. I go through those phases myself. It is amazing how well one can maintain on three workouts a week!

Rachel, sorry that your weekend is still two days away! You'll make it!

Jo, I'm not much for floats either... But the dinner sure sounded great!

I will try to check in, I'm sure I'll get some opportunities. It has been 6 years since my last trip there, so it is about time. I walked in the new shoes on the treadmill today. It takes some getting used to, and I don't know if I'm going to feel it tomorrow or not. I did a mild incline, if I don't feel anything, I might experiment with more incline. But I had an issue with my right heel getting a little chafed. No blister, but it's a bit sore now. Hopefully my foot will adjust. Abs of steel sounds good to me, Rachel! LOL!

Hi Everyone! Busy Thursday! (Aren't they all? :p) Just waiting for work to get over with so I can get to the gym and spin!!!

Kim, thank you so much for the tip on breathing! That may change my whole outlook! The breathing is the one area I've always struggled with...I run out of breath! LOL!!! Oh yeah and the Sam and Stephanie thing...who knew?? :p That warmed my heart to see them together!

Rachel, you're amazing me still get those workouts in! Hope you're not too tired when this is all over!

Cendrine, now if you get a BOSU and you're using the shoes, you'll be wonder woman!!!

You know it's funny talking about missing workouts...maybe we're all feeling the same about the 6 days a week. I've actually been thinking about going to a: 3 days on 1 day off scenario to get more rest time in. So for me, because of the spinning schedule, I'm thinking of Mondays off, workout Tues-Thurs, Friday off, workout Sat-Sun. Something like that. I have been thinking I need a little more rest time.

CBL!

FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN FUN night at the gym!!!!

Kim, I was watching some of the people swimming during water aerobics and wishing you could give me a lesson! LOL!

We had a substitute in spinning...she was good but didn't work us quite as hard as Peter does. Meaning my face was only pink and not RED! LOL! I worked the girls on abs again tonight and then I helped them with upper body work before we went to water aerobics. Then after water aerobics it was 15 minutes in the therapy pool, 10 minutes in the sauna and about 3 minutes in the steam! The steam room was unbelievably hot tonight but felt great. They use eucalyptus (sp?) in the steam room so it feels very cleaning and refreshing.

Then I got home, fixed myself a salad and SS comes out with a giant hanging fushia for me for Mother's Day, a cake with writing (Happy Mother's Day Jo) and a beautiful card. He's going hiking tomorrow and then working all weekend so I guess he decided to gift me early! Isn't that sweet?

Okay, I'm pooped out and ready to go get in bed and relax with my book (on my Kindle). I just started reading "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo." It's a thriller...have you heard of it? I just started it last night.

Okay, happy Friday!! Oh yeah, Rachel, happy Thursday! ;)

Good Friday Morning Yall!!!!

WHOOP WHOOP! LOL

I was up at about 3:30 so I have a little extra time this morning to get a little more caught up! Although I don't think my brain is up yet...haha...my typing is kind of slow and mangled!
DH and I are kicking butt at the job and have not been getting home until around 8 so you know that means pretty much shower, eat, and go to bed for me. I am ready for this one to be over. It has been a really hectic schedule hear toward the end. We are sort of friends with the superintendent (we have been on other jobs with him) so it is hard to see someone you know getting stressed and worried that they might have made the wrong decision. What I mean by that is, that he did not call for more help knowing that his schedule might have been too much for us to handle, it just being the two of us. They have had other people come in for all the other aspects of the job. We are the only ones that are holding to our schedule perfectly but it is hard to leave the house at 6AM and get home at 8PM. It is almost over though.

Kim-I never have heard that tip about swimming. You must have been an awesome instructor.
I think with your busy life you might be right about needing a break from a rotation. Everything else going on with the kids and work has to be on schedule and it might be nice for you to get to take a little time off from that for yourself.

Cendrine-I am so excited to hear about you trip. Are you excited to get back and have some of the local food that you grew up on? Something that you can't really get over here? My MIL always craves some weird food from Norway. There was this one thing that came in a tooth paste tube ...some kind of fish spread!:p

Jo-That was super sweet of SS. Very thoughtful of him to think to do that in advance since he was not going to be home.
I think you are getting alot of extra exercise from the gym work you are doing. I like the sound of your rotation to with the 3 on 1 off but I am just so used to having my Sunday fee of anything that I am not sure I would want that to change. Right now I am dreaming of Sunday...LOL

I woke up thinking it was Saturday...When you do that you know it has been a long week! Hahaha

I hope everything made since...I think I am just now really waking up! lol

Have a great day!

TTYL

Good Morning! I'm in a good mood this morning must be all the good food from yesterday!:D:D
Yesterday I did 40/20 and Slow & Heavy chest, today will be a 50 min run with Slow & Heavy Triceps.

We had some good news on the house yesterday, the design centre phoned to set up an appointment to go through our choices for carpet, cupboards, counters, exterior stone, etc:confused::confused: She sounded very nice on the phone. We're not going for 2 weeks as DH is going on a business trip but she said it won't delay anything. I phoned the city permit office and they said the permit should be done by today. I guess the plans have to go to each city office, like sewage, water, etc to make sure everything is okay. He said it was with the last department and they should finish today. So hopefully the building company will start in the next week or two:cool:

Rachael Goodnes you are busy! Is your DH feeling okay! Hopefully you get a few days off when it's all done??

Jo I would love to give you a swimming lesson! When I take the kids to their swimming lessons I think about how much I miss teaching. I did really enjoy doing that job. It was a student job though while I was in high school/university training for my "real" career. I have thought that it would be nice to go back to in retirement, and just teach a couple of evenings. I would have to get recertified though. I heard a movie review on "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" , they gave it a great review! How sweet of your step son! I've already told the kids the menu for my breakfast in bed;)

Cendrine I spent so much money on groceries yesterday:confused::confused: The grocery store actually had another of Tosca Reno's cookbooks so I bought that as well. I have boiled eggs in a container in the fridge ( I love these so have to be careful not to eat too many), chicken already cooked so easy to add to salads etc, tons of fresh veggies, almond, flaxseed, oatmeal, yogourt etc. Last night I made Gayle's recipe for a healthy chicken cordon bleu and stirfry veggies with garlic/ brown rice. Everyone really enjoyed it. This morning I made oatmeal, with strawberries and flaxseed. Had a hardboiled egg with it.

Got to run and take ds to school, they are going on a outing "Band Blast" to meet up with other schools. 600 kids playing in a band:eek::eek: They break into small groups (according to instruments) for the morning to get specialized training and then get back together to play in the afternoon.

I've added 2 pictures to my Disney '09 album, one is of the showhome that we're building and one is of my Dalamation (she's the blonde at the very front)

Good Morning!!! It's a glorious day! Today is my rest day and it's supposed to be sunny and 65 today! My last meeting is at 2:00 so I may have to cut out after that!

Rachel, your schedule is making ME tired! LOL! Good that you're in the home stretch of this project!

Kim, great pictures! DD looks adorable and I love the house! Sounds like you're on your way with the food! Some of the other things we (I) do here is have celery and carrots prepared and cut up so you can just grab them for snacks as well as peppers (unless I have the mini peppers). We always have hard boiled eggs on hand too. Your dinner sounds delicious!

Cendrine, GOOD MORNING!

Okay, got to run...enjoy your day everyone and Rachel don't work too hard!

Hi Guys,

Kim, dd looks adorable in the picture, thanks for sharing it! And the house sure looks nice too! Are you guys going to get the same exterior color or do you get to choose?
I'm impressed with your menu so far! Nice work, can I come over and eat with you guys? I love that cordon bleu, I'm glad you tried it and everyone liked it! Do you guys have something like Costco where you are? You might be able to save some money by getting healthy things in bulk. For instance I am able to get my flaxseed there, and I get organic chicken there for cheaper than at whole foods. Then if you have time on the weekend or one night when you are already baking or grilling, you can put on a few more chicken breasts, then cut them up and store for later use. That could save you some money, but I know how handy it is to just grab and go with that from the store. Getting recertified should not be too hard for you, after all, isn't swimming like riding a bike? Once you know how, you just do it regardless of how long it's been...? I'm so glad that you are seeing some progress with the house! Yay!

Jo, I would love that steam room with eucalyptus! Nice! And your ss sounds so considerate and loving! You obviously did a very good job raising him!

Rachel, almost the weekend! I hope you get some good rest!

I got to get going on packing here soon, not much time left.... LOL I'm such a procrastinator!

Good Evening Gals...

Just a quick pop in before I do a little more relaxing and then off to bed. Since it was Friday we left the job early...5pm instead of 7:rolleyes:! I have to admit that 2 extra hrs make a world of difference...I am sure my cat appreciated the fact that I changed the litter instead of just scooping it today..LOL:p
Although we have to work tomorrow, it is not so bad knowing that next week should be our last week like this one. It is also the last week in my rotation so since I think we are going to take it easy the next week I might lighten up on the exercise that one too before tackling the March rotation.

Jo-You must me out and about in the super nice weather. I miss 65 degrees already. We are right at 90 and muggy! Have you been able to look over the dvd for swimming yet? How is the new book? I am always looking for a good read when I have time to read. LOL

Kim-The house looks great. Are you doing any pre-research for all the finishes? That would make me a little nervous too. I hope they will have some thing big for you to look at and not little swatches. You can never get a real full picture of what something will look like that way.

Cendrine- I am a horrible procrastinator too when it comes to packing, esp. for a big trip like you are going on. I am always afraid that I will forget something that I really need. When we went to Croatia, I got my period while I was there and I had one hell of a time finding tampons. Apparently they are not a popular item there. We had to go to a bigger town.
Of course too, if you are like me, you like to be in control of the packing that way you are absolutely positive that everything makes it...lol

OK off to watch some tv and lay on the couch...

I didn't get out early from work this afternoon like I hoped! But got home and DH and I made some fresh cod he got at the fish market and we steamed kale for salad (kale, red onions steamed then throw in pine nuts, sun dried tomatoes, cranberries and kalamato olives). I've been spending the evening doing laundry and picking up since tomorrow is Lululemon day! Yippeee! Actually, DH and I are making a day of it - going up to the outlet mall and then may spend some time up north goofing around. So I am abandoning my Pilates class at the gym tomorrow.

Cendrine, sounds like you'll be busy this weekend getting ready! (Don't forget to take Travel Fit with you!) Or at least take a band with you!

Kim, I'm excited to hear about your choices from the design center. Just think how fun this is going to be to have everything the way you want!

Rachel, so far I think the book is going to suck me in! Stay tuned! Glad you got home a little earlier tonight so you can get a little more rest! Also, I'll have Sunday to myself so I'm going to watch the swimming DVD then. Then I plan to go test out what I learn Sunday afternoon! :p Adult open swim is from 1 - 8!

Okay, my last load of laundry just buzzed so I'm going to go get it and then off to bed!

Good Saturday!

Well today was supposed to be a circuit workout so I thought I would do Circuit Blast ...Notice the "supposed" and "thought I would" ...lol Even though I was up at about 3:40 am and got up and got dressed and ready to work out. I ate my morning snack and felt good and as awake as a person could be at 4 in the morning on a Saturday...haha. I went in my workout room and popped in the dvd and proceeded to warm up and knew this was going downhill fast. My energy was just not in it today. So after the first cycle of circuits I popped that dvd out and put in the extended stretch instead...LOL I really enjoyed the laying on the floor parts;).
I hate to miss 2 workouts in one week but I know this too shall pass and I will be back to longer better workouts soon.

I think if we can get to it today we are going to take some pics of the job. We have a good bit of work to do though for a Saturday so we will see.

I better go get peel dh out of bed and see if we can get some energy in this day!

Rachel

OH Yea Have fun at lululemon today Jo! Can't wait to hear about the deals!

Would you believe that in 2 days of clean eating that I have lost 2.5 lbs???:D:D:confused::confused: My stomach was a bit upset last night but she warns you about that in the book.
Yesterday I did my 50 minute run outside!! It's funny I was such a runner ( one full marathon, 3 half marathons, and lots of shorter races) and yet I hadn't run outside since last September. I was actually nervous about running outside but it was great!!!!! Felt so good with no treadmill numbers to obsess about. My garmin was dead so just ran with a watch so I knew the time (had to be at the school for 12 to walk dd home for lunch) The walk home was a nice cool down. Then I did S & H Triceps while dd ate.

Today is the last day of week 3 of the march rotation, this has been a killer week with 30-50 mins of cardio and then Slow and Heavy added on each day. So today is DM Premix #1 and Biceps/abs.

Got another phone call late in the day yesterday about the house! The technology people wanted to set up a meeting to go over the floor plans to decide where we want the phone/tv/internet lines. :D:D Going the same day as we're going to the design centre, so it will be a day of decisions. It's so much fun to see things moving ahead.

DD and I finished the 3rd book of Harry Potter after school yesterday and then the family watched the movie. DD said that watching the movie after reading the books makes the movie kind of boring, I agree. I just finished a great Michael Palmer book, and now started on the new "#1 Ladies Detective Agency" book, anyone else read those? Also working my way through Sue Grafton's series for a second time. The library called and a book I had on hold about healthy eating (I can't remember the name) was available. And I stopped at the book store yesterday and used the rest of my gift certificate for Tosca Reno's book "Family and Kids" cookbook, so I guess I better do some reading this weekend. Of course, dd will want to get started on book 4 of Harry potter.

Cendrien We get to choose the exterior of the house. So we get to pick one stone, one stucco and then the shingles. We're been driving around looking at houses. I've never really noticed shingle colour before, LOL. Do you like the colours on the showhome.??? I have a $10 off coupon for a box of chicken for a store that I don't usually go to so will go there and pick up a box. We do have Costco but don't seem to get there very often.

Rachael I don't think we will do much research on the finishes. On spring break we did go around to all the showhomes by that builder and looked at what they each had. I talked to the designer and she sort of recommended not to. Their design center is set up with model areas not just samples. I will bring in a dining room chair, couch cushions, etc to the appointment. I think if I look to much I will get overwhelmed. DH has great colour sense, and from looking at the showhomes he kind of knows what he thinks will look good.
Don't worry about your workouts!!! You body probably needs the rest more than anything else!

Jo Have fun at Lululemons, I stopped there yesterday and used up the last of my gift certificate. I got cropped sweat pants in grey, I got the same pants in April (in purple) and just loved them.

Sorry, I didn't realize I was so talkative today.

Good Morning! I'm just sitting here having my coffee waiting for DH to finish in the shower so I can get in.

Rachel, your body needed the rest! Again you were keeping a difficult schedule this week so you should commend yourself for all the workouts you did get in!! Your body wanted more sleep! :p I think it was a good idea to treat yourself to the stretch!

Kim, I know what sweatpants you're talking about! I stood and looked at those last weekend when I was there. Don't apologize for being talkative! I enjoy reading about everyone's "goings ons!" :D Congrats on the 2.5 lbs! It's amazing how just cleaning up your diet has such quick body response! I love eating clean! I'm not familiar with the Detective Agency book but I'm going to go check it out. Also, haven't read Sue Grafton in a while but would like to pick her books up again. This book I'm currently reading is really good! I know what you mean about the shingles...I never noticed them (color) until we had to replace them at our old house.

I hope I'm not overly excited about the outlet store...I may not find anything at all but I'm just excited there is one! LOL! DH just hollered that I can have the shower so I'll talk to you guys later!

Hello Cendrine! Everyone have a great day!

Hi Guys,

today will be a day of doing lots of ins and outs and odds and ends for the tripo prep. This morning dh tested all the smoke detectors finding issues and was able to get them fixed, so I'm glad he did that. I made some healthy banana muffins with cocoa nibs on top for a little crunch for our trip. Now I'm sorting through artwork of the kids to bring with us to hand out to people. DD finished her preschool curriculum yesterday, so of course I am all over organizing the books for the next round and getting things moved out that I won't be needing any more, like I needed an extra project before our trip, and like it couldn't wait till after our trip.... But there is that procrastinator again, as you can see!!! Dd and I will paint our toenails today for a little mommy and me time, and I was talked into watching a friend of ds's for more than four hours:eek: today . I hope they just entertain each other and I can be in the vincinity, doing projects like I had planned.

Kim I am so super excited for your weight loss reward since switching to more clean foods! Congratulations! If that isn't a motivator, huh?
Have fun picking out all the colors and things for your house! I would be terribly stressed out because more often than not I choose something only to wish I had chosen something else when it's too late, I do that even with food ordering at the restaurant.... I don't think I would have too much of a prefernece for shingles, but I think I lilke lighter colors for stucco, how about you? What is the general norm around your area? Here most homes are generally lighter colors, light terra cotta colorish, so maybe that is why I just gravitate toward that. I second Jo, I enjoy hearing about everybody's goings on, so don't feel like you have to apologize for long posts...:)

Rachel, I'm glad you took it easy! You have to be kind to your body, it's working out all day, so you don't need to worry about missing a workout at home!

Jo, have fun at the outlet! I can enjoy trips like that even if I don't find anything, too! We'll see what all I'll drag home with me from our trip, I'm sure there will be some stuff!

I'm so glad to be done with Slow and Heavy!

So a few months ago, the local radio station was advertising a "The Biggest Loser" competition. I saw a list of the teams in the newspaper and one was dd's piano teacher. I never had a chance to ask her about it but I never noticed any difference and I just assumed it wasn't her. (I felt kind of weird asking because she's a large woman and what if it wasn't her:eek:) Today's newspaper had a picture of the winning team, and she is on the team! Her interview said that she lost 44 lbs with jogging and using Tosca Reno's book! I see her every week and honestly I haven't noticed anything. She does wear big sweatshirts as her music studio is in her basement where it's kind of cool. Her before/after in the newspaper looked impressive! I'm going to congratulate her this afternoon (and have a good look, LOL)

Hope you get all your projects done Cendrine! The toenails should be high on the priority list! Often having a friend over keeps the kids out of your hair for awhile! It seems like the light stucco is just going out of style and heavier stone/darker colours are just coming into vogue:rolleyes:

Jo I also bought black shorts with a band of different colours around the waist and a pink shirt from Lululemon. The pink shirt was $11 from the clearance rack.

Whooooopy It's Saturdy!

Sorry bout that, I am just so glad for a real rest day coming up! Dh and I are getting super close to getting our job done. We pretty much have gotten all the big areas done, now it is just buttoning up things for the rest of the week. The company we sub from missed some stuff so now we have to wait until the end of next week for some stair nosings:mad::mad::mad:! I am just glad dh was looking ahead or there would have been some real trouble. It was over 300 feet in just these particular nosings. They are notorious for missing things like that on a big job.

I have to admit that I am right now sipping on a nice cold glass of pinot grigio and enjoying every minute of it!:p I am hoping to at least sleep in to 6am in the morning and just piddle around here straightening the house and maybe catch up on LOST! Jo, I have 2 episodes recorded!

I am looking around and trying to sort out some sort of list of things I want to get done when we get time off after this job. Normally if we have a lot of time and I do not have a plan, I end up wasting so much time but I really want to do some decorating. Change things up a little to get ready for when the mudroom is finished.

Cendrine-It is uncanny how much we are alike...When ever we are going on a trip it seems like I want to get a million things done before we go! lol They are definitely things that could wait until we get back but some how it seems like I should get them done.
I love that you are making snacks for the trip. How many stops do you have to make? We were lucky with our overseas trip. Of course we live in a small town so we had to fly to a bigger airport but then it was straight to Frankfurt and then to Croatia. I like a little bit of a lay over just so you have plenty of time to get to your gates and for your bags to make it. I am so paranoid!

Jo-LULULEMON???Was it every thing and more? LOL I hope it was great. I wish we had something like that here. We only have a place called Raquet and Jog and it is always extremely high! I do not think they ever have a sale.
Did yall find anything else that was fun?

Kim-That is pretty cool about the music teacher...I heard on the radio the other day that TBL is coming to Texas because alot of our towns made the top 10 fattest. I think maybe five of the 10 were towns in TX. That is just horrible. You would think as warm as it is people would be more fit here. We do love our fried food down here though!
It sound like you are going to have a really jam packed day when you go to the design center! It is great that they have examples set up! It is so exciting! I hope you are able to post pics, if not, I know we will still be around in October when you are moving in!;)

Thank you all for making me feel better about missing workouts! I know my body is screaming for rest but you know how pig headed us fitness freaks are! But it makes a world of difference to here those things from yall!

I am going to shower and wash work out of my hair and relax for the evening! Have a great night!

You guys were busy today!!! Well DH and I made a day of it! I'll give you the series of events and then I'll come back to Lululemon! We went to the Outlet mall where Lululemon is...it's actually not far from the border but it's a really small Outlet mall (big lululemon! ;)). So we went there then went and had lunch at a little authentic Mexican restaurant...I didn't eat too much but ate things I haven't eaten in ages and now have indigestion! Then we went to a really cool Sportsman/hunting store and just wondered around. Then we headed back and hit the BIG Outlet mall which is 1/2 way between lululemon and our house. Did I say BIG? It's next to one of the big casinos and there were so many people it was like being at Disneyland! I ended up buying a couple t-shirts at Nike that were $5 a piece. Then we went down by the Sound (it was a beautiful day here today) and looked at old houses on the water. Then we went to favorite Farmers market on the way home and picked up tons of vegetables (all locally grown). I just got done eating a salad and now here I am!

Okay so Lululemon. Unfortunately it wasn't very successful for me. I wear a 4 and they had almost NOTHING in 4's. Literally everything they had in 4's fit on about 3 feet of one rack. BUT, if you're 6, 8, 10 or 12 - oh my...racks and racks of clothes. They also had clothes in one section that were regular price. So I did end up getting one pair of very cool long pants that were originally $98 and I got them for $29. And, I got a pair of cropped sweat pants with elastic cuffs that were originally $59 and I got them for $19. They are called Namaste pants - I wondering if they're like yours Kim. They have pockets in the front and one zip pocket in the back. I can tell already they'll be a favorite! One of the clerks told me that it was unusual for them to have so few things in my size but it happens! (That's the perils of the outlet store!). But, DH on the other hand got 2 very cool running shirts...one longsleeve pullover and one zip front pullover. And, a very nice sweatshirt. They had tons of stuff for him so he did much better than me and didn't even know they had mens clothing! He also got a wallet at another store so he made out better than me!

Bottom-line, we had a fun day...normally DH would be complaining about shopping with me and especially having to deal with the crowd, but he didn't! We had a great day!
