LOL Those are supposed to be bats if anyone was wondering.:D:D:D
I love October. It is my favorite month. Not only is my birthday this month but the weather changes and gets so nice and I love Halloween too. My birthday is Tuesday and I will be 35. For some reason I am so excited. We don't have any special plans since we are budgeting so I don't know where the excitement is coming from. Who knows? :D

Cendrine, I know you can appreciate this. I think I am going on a little field trip today while DH finishes his last day of filming (I will give you the update on that in a minute). I just found out that the town that has the store front we work out of normally got a grocery store called Fresh. It is supposed to be way better than whole foods and rival Central Market. When I found out I started googling it and just was amazed that this place is only about an hr drive which might seem like a lot to some people but for me, I could drive that at least once a month to stock up on some things that I can not get around here. I just had a thought....This might be the root of all my excitement:D:D:D LOL

On the filming...DH came home the first day in a foul mood. THe guy was not very organized the first day and that sometimes can get really stressful for DH esp. when he was doing all the driving because the jib crane was on our truck for filming the motorcycles while drive down the road. I was in bed before I even saw him yesterday, but we texted throughout the day and he was very happy so I am wondering "what a difference a day makes?"

So if I end up on my field trip today, I will fill you all in. TTYL

Oh, Rachel, do tell what treasures you found!

Love the bats, very creative, and thanks for explaining lol!

I'm glad the second day of schooting went better!

I found boots I like in the price range I can justify! I am very particular with shoes and it can be several years inbetween shoe purchases for me....:rolle:Dyes: so i'm very pleased....

Back from the cottage! My diet has been terrible the last 2 days! At the cottage, each family plans a meal, so it's harder to control the options. Also of course there was pumpkin pie and yummy treats. My sister made homemade scones for breakfast;).
Then, yesterday was our first official NHL hockey game, and the city was all one big party. We went to a house party and the food was pizza, wine, chips and ice cream cake. Yummy but not healthy. I can feel my weight loss as the jeans I bought in August in Minneapolis are too big! I wore them yesterday and wished I had put a belt on!
Right back to the healthy eating as I missed it! I did squeeze in Boot Camp (the orginal) yesterday and today I'm thinking of 40/20 and then PS SHoulders, Triceps, Chest.

An former coworker is coming over this afternoon so I can help her plan her Disney vacation:D:D Other people told her to call me so I guess I'm getting a reputation. She is going with her 2 and 4 yr old, her and DH and both sets of grandparents:D Absolutely nothing planned, and she was so confused when I talked to her, I think they would have been driving around looking for things that weren't even in Orlando. I'm always amazed at how much misinformation is out there. Should be fun to sort things out for her.

LOVE the bats!! I know how much you love Halloween, I'm hoping to get outside and do some yard decorating today! I love the whole autumn, Halloween, Thanksgiving time, it's my favourite time of the year! How did the field trip go?? What did you buy?? Is DH all finish with his filming now?

Cendrine What kind of boots? I'm assuming that you don't wear winter boots:p So did you have a birthday party for ds??? I hate kid's sleepovers. Next week my little nephew is turning 5 and is having a bday party but yesterday dd's friend called her and invited her to a sleepover over the same day. I don't want my little nephew upset because dd didn't come so we're going to have a little talk about actually sleeping so she can do both events.

Welcome back, Kim! I'm glad you had a good time and allowed yourself the treats, I for one would have liked to try those scones! How fun that your pants are too big, that's an awesome problem to have!
the boots I got (I actually got two pairs... ) are not warm...lol, one pair is sort of suede black and is best worn with pantlegs inside them, the other is a high heeled pair, much more dressy looking good with skinny leg jeans or skirts and tights... just in time for fall fashion...lol
ds will have his party this coming weekend, just when he will finally have recovered from tne last sleep over...

Rachel, what costume are you going to wear this year for halloween?

I did lower intensity circuit premix from 4ds, loved it!

Happy Monday!

Well Fresh is more than I even imagined! I have never had a grocery store experience like that before. OK don't laugh...I was there for 3 hours! :eek:I think people were starting to wonder about me to be quite honest. LOL But first I wanted to get the lay of the land so I didn't miss anything and then I had to have lunch at one of their fine little eating shops and a pumpkin beer on the patio!!! Then I picked up a few things that I knew I would use with in the next couple of weeks. As I was walking around in the beginning, I made a super huge list of all the things I wanted to come home and look up and find recipes for before I bought anything. You know how I hate to be wasteful so I had to contain myself! LOL
So for my first trip, I just bought some produce that is not available to me anywhere close like red kale, savoy cabbage and home grown squash, organic sweet potatoes. You know things like that. Then of course just like any good mom would do on a field trip, I had to bring the cat some organic catnip and the dogs some really cool dog biscuits...and not excluding dh in all that I brought him home some gourmet popcorn.
I could really gush all day about this place but since yall are used to this sort of thing, I will spare you! LOL

Cendrine-I am the same way about shoes...It's weird, I love to look at them in the department store but I rarely buy a new pair. I just really don't go anywhere to wear nice shoes too often.
So what sort of boots did you get? Do they have a heel? I can see you in the flat sort of riding boot like the one Kate Blanchett wore in Robin Hood.

Kim-Way to go getting right back into the healthy eating...Isn't it weird how you missed it like some people miss junking out when they are on a diet. Oh and I love how you are not calling it a diet, by the way. I am a firm believer and witness that "diets" never work!
How funny that you are the Disney expert in your town! Too funny but I can even tell how much you love it. When you love something you tend to learn so much more about it.

Oh I failed to mention that I was woke up this morning ,2am, by the smell of fire so I wasn't up and out of bed this morning for a workout. Thinking about maybe trying to go whip something up now...The fire was about 4 miles away near my gf's house AGAIN. Scary stuff!

Better go TTYL

Well that is quite the review Rachael, so I guess you liked the store!

I really enjoy the Low Intensity cardio from 4DS, just so much fun!

Today was STS pylo legs week 1, I like these workouts! Back to healthy eating yesterday/today and feeling great!

I'm glad you liked the store so much, Rachel! I can't wait to hear what you are going to make with some of the stuff you are googling recipes for first... Should be fun! I enjoy trying new things, looks like you do too!

It's great how the healthy eating is making you feel so well! I had a gift card to an ice cream shop around here and I decided I should use it up so I took the kids there for a treat today. Just looking at the stuff made me feel icky with the sugar overload! So I acutally had nothing and felt good about it and then had some dark chocolate at home instead....lol

Sorry no checkin for me yesterday...It was my birthday and a whirl wind of a day.
Since we are on a strict budget I had absolutely no expectations for really doing much at all. I am fast realizing that having no expectations is the best way to go with anything because then what ever happens is unexpected and you can never be disappointed. The day could not have been anymore of a surprise to me I think. First, I went to yoga and it was such a great class and I got the news that Doug Swenson ( a well known yogi guru) is coming to do a one day workshop on the 29 of Oct... So unexpected! Since he really does not ever come to this area! So great news there...Then when I got home dh whisked me back out the door to have a great lunch and then took me in the exact opposite direction to Louisianna to have dessert! Then we spent the day on the boardwalk and had dinner over there as well. It was just more than I could have asked for in a day when I expected nothing at all. Lovely:) So just a wonderful day altogether.

Cendrine-You know I have to admit I have not even started googling my new ingredients yet but when I do I will let you know what pops up. I am sure these are all things that you have had before but maybe I will stumble on a recipe you haven't tried;)
2 Pair of boots!!! You really did splurge didn't you! They sound super cute.

Kim-I am not doing the rotation right now. Is that what you are doing? I am working with meso 1 this week and will see if I want to continue with it next week. No pressure for me right now.
Oh and could you tell ..I loved the store!!! LOL:p:p:p

Workout this morning was meso 1 back and tris. Loving all the new video clips of the new workouts!!!

Happy belated birthday, Rachel! I'm glad you had such a good day, sounds like a nice time to spend it! I hope the workshop will be everything you hope it will be!

Workout for me was low max, man did that work me! I'm so out of shape, it took me at least 10 min for my heartrate to get down to 60%! I think I spent way too much time in the red zone, I'm feeling a bit dazed like I always do when I push too hard...
I'm gonna have to do that more often to get better!

Hi Kim!

I can't believe that I didn't wish you a Happy Birthday yesterday Rachael!!! Sorry! Sounds like it was a great day!

It's about 90 degrees out and we're at the park... luckily it's a shaded park! I took the kids and some friends to the local organic farm for a pumpkin patch time. They had a blast, petting zoo, tractor ride, huge corn maze plus pick your own veggies and pumpkin... ds picked such a big one that he had trouble carrying it to the car, but loved using the farms wheelbarrow... lol.
also took the kids to tne scout store to use up my gift card for volunteering at summer day camp, came home with basket weaving kits which covered some of my art and craft plans to complement our native americans study... I love it when things work out so well!

I had to come back and say this! I checked the temperature, it's 98F!! And we made soup for dinner ( the kids wanted to cut up the veggies they picked at the farm... I have a feeling we will be putting ice cubes in it....lol

Yuck Cendrine on the temps...I can honestly say I know exactly how that feels! We are luckily in the 80's!

I am ready for soup weather but it just isn't quiet there for me yet. I think it isn't for you either. LOL

I had every intention of getting up this morning and getting some cardio in but I guess I must have had a rough nights sleep because I just could not get up this morning and then when I did get up it was allergy city! I am sure it is from having the windows open but I am stubborn about all the "fresh allergy air" I am getting through the house.
In saying all of that though I got my cardio workout at yoga. We did this very fun flow and I was sweating my bum off! Then of course we practice some cool postures that I could not master at all but maybe some day! ;)
Yoga like that always makes me come home and get productive, so I spent the day making homemade pizza dough and pizza sauce for DH.

Kim-No worries on the birthday wishes...You have enough on your plate;)

:D:D:DRachel

Well, I'm making soup tomorrow in the crockpot but it's 42F right now so I think it's okay:D

I'm still plugging away at the Oct. rotation with a little tweaking here and there. Yesterday was KPC and today was a rest day.

It cooled off some today, yay! Ds's bdparty tomorrow... I hope I get some decent sleep, even if the kids don't ...:)

I did sjp circuit premix today and it was sooooo much fun! I'm gonna do the longer premix next time, I forgot how much fun that cardio is! Lol

Probably won't check in again til Monday... ;)

Hey Cendrine I did SJP tonight as well ! One of my old favourities! I would like to know how many times I've done some of these oldies like IMA2, KPC, SJP! DS was making fun of the '80s music in it:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Good luck with ds's party!! Are there lots of kids coming? Hopefully you can post some pics afterwards!

One more week till the new workouts start to ship! Is anyone planning to do a rotation?

Good Saturday Morning!

Well we just were going and going all day!
Dh went with me to yoga yesterday:cool:. And from then we had errands in town. Then we were home for about an hour and had to leave out again for a football game that my niece was marching in. So we got home at about 10:30 and when I finally got in bed, I slept like a rock!!!

Kim-I am not sure if I am going to be able to stick to a rotation yet because we are supposed to be going back to work soon and after being off for so long, I think it is going to be an adjustment...to say the least LOL!

Cendrine-I hope the bday party goes off with out a hitch. Thank goodness you had nicer weather come in in time. I am darn right cold this morning!

Have a wonderful day!
Rachel
