+++STS 6 Month Alumni +++ Nov. 28/10

Cendrine, I know exactly what you mean! It warmed up to 68 today and I am pretty warm but in the winter I leave the therm at 68 and I am cold. It makes no sense whatsoever.
We are going to be OK. We have made sure to always pad for these times but it stinks when you have to be extra careful because you are not sure when your next job is. The rest of the country has been dealing with this, it was only a matter of time before it hit here.

Kim-How many sleeps until Mexico now???!! The whole family must be bouncing off the walls ready to get to some sun.
I don't know what I did but my schedule was BM, DM, BC, and then today was BM2...was that how yours was?

Jo-I hope you are getting all settled into the office. Have been able to do any more of the DVD's? Have you done them all yet? I previewed Intensity, Lower Body Blast and High Reps the other day while I was painting my primer on the walls. They look scary good! I love how everyone is sweating bullets in this one!!!

Well we have some fires going outside so I better get back to it...Have a great rest of the evening.

Hello!

I did IMAX 2 this morning to finish off the Nov. rotation. Looks like we did the same rotation Rachael;) No dvds yet!

Heading off early in the morning to Mexico. DH is taking his laptop and there is supposed to be Wifi so I might check in from the beach!

Have a great week everyone.

We miss you already Kim! Can't wait to hear from you!

Well it is Friday...LOL they are beginning to look like all my days are Saturdays! Of course all except for the workout schedule. I am on the fence about tomorrow. I was thinking I would maybe take the whole weekend as a rest and then start the Dec. rotation with the new dvd's. Since this was an extremely hard week, I am contemplating skipping IM2 tomorrow. Not sure yet if I will or not though. It is just an idea. I would like a whole rest week but since I am not working it is not that strenuous to not take one. It is the only thing that keeps me on a schedule and I like a good schedule.

So this morning it was LIC, then I put together a crockpot chicken thighs and sausage recipe that I got out of a light and tasty mag...then to Lowes to get paint and then grocery store and home. Hopefully I am set for the weekend.
My brother is bringing my niece out tomorrow to target shoot. She thinks she might like to hunt:rolleyes: I think that will be a fleeting fad. While they are out though we are going to have a weiny roast. I know, not healthy at all but so much fun for the kids.

Anyway, that is about all I got for now. I hope everyone is winding down for the weekend...

Have a great time, Kim! Hopefully the weather will be nice for you guys!

Rachel, good luck with the hunter...LOL! Ds would love to join you!;)
We have a relatively easy day today. All of us are feeling somewhat draggy today, it's a bit overcast, maybe that has something to do with it....

I did the Hiit lo from intensity and added on the bootcamp bonus, subbing in the Hiit lo moves for her bootcamp cardio and then did some good ab work. I sure would love those low impact segments to be longer though!

Have a great time Kim!!!! Well things got better at work this week but then I had my toughest week this session with school for both classes. I have one more week and then finals...then a break until after new years! Can you believe it's already been 6 months? WOW!!

Anyway, I just wanted to pop in as I've been MIA. I just finshed 2 tests and my nutrition paper and wanted to drop a note before I go to bed. My paper this week was on my fitness routine and a typical dietary day for me with calories. Anyway, I'll tell you more about it tomorrow but I think it was good!

I get more caught up tomorrow as it's 12:15 and DH is telling me to get to bed! LOL!

Good morning!

Well I opted out of the workout this morning...I thought a weekend off would do me some good. I always feel rejuvenated after a couple days off. Now though, I have this weird muscle pain in my lower back on the left side. I am wondering if it would have gotten worked out during the work out:rolleyes: LOL
I guess we will not know cause I am not going to workout to find out.:p

I have already got the laundry going, granola in the oven and the house straightened for my niece and nephew to come over and hopefully not wreck it too much.

Jo-It sounds like you are having a week for sure. I hope you get some down time this weekend to not worry about the office or school! But I am sure that you are a lot like me , that you can't get it off your mind. You need a lemon drop martini!

Cendrine-It's so funny about my niece and hunting. My brother was telling her that she would probably go through all these emotions if she shot a deer. Excitement, and all sorts of other emotions and then he told her she would probably be a little sad...She said why would I be sad? I told him she is nothing like me and how did that happen LOL I would bawl my eyes out if I had to shoot anything! Even if it was coming right for me!
When I previewed Intensity I remember thinking that I would have to agree with Jo. It looked like they were blasting the whole time!!! I think that is the workout that they start off with in the Dec. rotation!

Off to get ready for the wieny roast! Have a great Saturday

I think I would be traumatized too if I had to shoot an animal.... which is sort of hypocritical of me since I do eat meat.... Ds asked me today after we made turkey bacon and eggs fro breakfast if maybe we could make our own bacon sometime....LOL! When he heard bacon came from pigs, well, he wasn't so keen anmyore...LOL!

Enjoy your weekend off, Rachel! I hope your house will still look nice after the kids leave! It's amazing what kids can do to a place, isn't it?

Jo, sounds like things are not slowing down for you! But it also sounds like you are in good spirits and that makes all the diff!

Laundry and floors done here, dh at the gym with the kids. So I am going to have a little time to myself. We are going to go to a christmas festival later today. It's supposed to have a petting zoo and craft boutiques and such and of course a tree lighting ceremony.

Ds also has his first Basketball practice and game this afternoon. Should be fun. I'm going to take dd out for some girl time while the boys are playing ball.

Ole from Mexico! It is incredibly beautiful here! The beach is awesome! It was a long day of travelling yesterday, getting up at 4:20 am and getting to the hotel at 2 pm. The Cancun airport is kinda of scary, large military presence which really frightened ds. Once we got to the resort area, it's a whole different world!!

We have swam in 2 different pools, and the ocean. Tons of relaxing and reading. They have great hammocks on the beach. The food and drinks are all included. I'm sure I've already gained some weight. DS commented that he will need to do some Cathe workouts with me to get back in shape. He wanted to do some parasailing but not so sure now that he sees how high they go.

DD and I went for pedicures in the spa and the boys are off playing tennis right now while dd and I enjoy cocktails (hers are nonalcoholic) in the internet bar.

We did some bodysurfing which the kids loved!

Kim, that all sounds sooo wonderful! I'm so glad you guys are able to enjoy yourselves right away! How long are you there for again?

We went to the christmas festival only to find out that the flyer we got about it was incorrect and it's tomorrow.... So we went to Mother's Marked for a healthy dinner instead and will try again tomorrow.
