****STS 6 MONTH ALUMNI*** * Nov 14

TGIF! I'm tired and that's all I have to say about that! LOL!

Yesterday was a frenzy with the cubicles being torn down. I finished some boxes for the movers. This morning we'll do the kitchen. Cendrine, as far as setting up, besides getting my computers set up (I have 3), my phones and a couple of odds and ends, the rest could take me a year! LOL!!! Actually, next week is usually a pretty quiet week so I should be able to be set up in a couple of days. But I have some boxes I won't unpack as our tenant improvements won't be done yet.

Rachel, I've never changed the size of my pictures. It seems sometimes they load very fast and sometimes they don't. But if they are real big then I think the website is converting them to a more appropriate size for the page.

Cendrine, good to hear that DH is doing better. Is the gym a full gym like with a pool and everything? Thank you for the high fives! I'm feeling pretty accomplished today! :D

For some reason I woke up thinking about Lululemon...do you think it's a sign? ;) No no, I don't need anything...but do you think it's a sign? :D

Off to work! You guys have a fantabulous day!!!!

Good FRIDAY!

Jo I know you are needing it...Are you working through the weekend?
I am just setting here munching down my very late lunch (3pm) That is so not like me! But today I kind of had a late breakfast (10) so in reality I wasn't really that hungry till now. I had hair at 11:15 and they were all getting fast food at lunch and to tell you the truth I have had my fair share of grilled chicken fast food sandwiches this week so I opted out of that and then had to run an errand to the big town and so here I am eating lunch at 3. So I am keeping it small, an apple, a few Dr. Kracker crackers, and some cottage cheese. Dh has a hankerin' for raost so I am thinking I might try cooking lights roast tonight so I have to be semi hungry to eat dinner!
OK I know I am rambling...there must be something about hair day that makes me do that...all that salon gossip , I guess:rolleyes:

This morning it was the last leg workout of the week. B&G, I feel like I made it through pretty good...How bout you Kim?
I am kind of excited about tomorrows workout. It is premix #4 on drill max, upper body sculpt. I am pretty sure I have never done that one so it will be fun to do a new premix.

Jo-I think it is a divine sign and you don't want to P.O. the sign senders do ya! ;) I hope you get some down time this weekend.

Kim and Cendrine- I hope yall are having a great day!

I'm just home and I'm done for now! I had to go over to the new office today and setup up a temporary area for one of my groups. So I've put in a eleven hour day! But, you know what...it has felt really good this week to do this. But yes, I'm tired, but a good tired! My office is already semi-put together. I have a custom desk so the desk vendor had to put it together. My office doesn't have as nice of a view as my old office but I still have windows ceiling to floor on one wall. I have nothing to complain about. Unfortunately my new office is a hair smaller than my old office so I can't get all of my office furniture in there. The movers are down there now moving the rest of our stuff and will probably be there all night.

Rachel, you are right...I DO NOT want to P.O. the sign senders so I may take a trip to the mall tomorrow! LOL! Don't you love going to the salon? I always get all caught up in all the gossip there! LOL! It's a completely different world! You know, I've never done the DM premix you're talking about. I've pretty much done everything on every workout, but not that one!

I'm going to go put my jammies on and watch a movie with DH. A lemon drop martini sounds good but I don't have anything to make one with! Plus it would probably put me right to sleep!

Oh yeah, and I mentioned earlier we're suppose to get snow this weekend and boy the temperature has really dropped! I better get to lululemon before that happens! LOL!

TTYT!!!

Oooooooh, it's a sign, Jo, it's a sign! ;):D Besides, you need a little pampering, even if there's nothing you need need...if you get my meaning....

You must feel pretty relieved to be this far done already! Hopefully you can recuperate some this weekend!

Rachel, I forgot to ask earlier, what is it you are doing in your workout room? I can't remember you mentioning planning any changes.
And by the way, I've heard the saying that baking is an exact science too, but it hasn't stopped me from experimenting...LOL! Cooking is semi exact too, because some things you just can't use too much of or it won't be tasty... But I think if you have a general idea of what consistency the dough should be like before baking then you'll know if it's too wet or too dry, and that sort of thing. So are you going to dare venture out and sub the recipe you got with healthier ingredients? If you are, I will be interested to hear how it went!

Kim, how are things going for you this week?

I did the last gymstyle today, triceps and chest, it was harder than I expected, and I will feel it tomorrow...

Well I completely looked at my calendar wrong..It was 4DS Boot Camp and then premix #4 from LIC...So Jo, that DM premix doesn't exist...lol SO it is no wonder why you haven't done it. I was going through all my dvd's trying to figure out what I supposed to do and then gave up and came in here to check the schedule...SO I totally messed that one up haha!

OK off to get motivated again...or try my darndest!

BBL

Sorry I've been missing for a couple of days. Thursday I did the workouts Rachael was just talking about (4DS bootcamp cardio only and LIC upper body only). I was physically exhausted for some reason and the workouts really were done very half hearted. I came home from work that night and fell asleep on the couch watching tv.

Yesterday was a rest day and we had a big winter storm!!! Driving was bad! Took me a 1.5 hours from home to work. Lots of snow here now. It was minus 22 last night. Then had to go out in the evening to watch ds's hockey game. All that stressful driving really is fatiguing.

Today is cold but less snow. I have on the schedule 4ds HIS which I plan to do but I'm sure enjoying relaxing this morning then the kids have piano lessons, swimming lessons and ds has another hockey game so not sure where it's going to fit in. I swear dd has grown another 2 inches all her pants are too short so need to take her shopping and ds needs fabric for home ec for sewing pj pants. Going to be a busy weekend especially with the roads still slow.

Going to start another post that's less self absorbed.

Rachael I was wondering how long the drive is into town for you?? I don't change the size of the pictures before I post. Are you going to post some pics for us??? What are you doing with your workout room??

Jo Goodness what a week you've had!! I think you definitely deserve something from Lululemon!

Cendrine Sounds like you DH is heading in the right direction with healing. Is he still wearing the foot brace? Is ds still doing the TaeKwonDo without his dad? How are those triceps and chest muscles feeling today?

So did everyone see that the dvds have arrived? They are packing them over the weekend and sending them out Monday. Jo did you get your downloads? Are you going to have any time in your busy schedule to preview the new workouts??

I'm thinking that it will take about 2 weeks to get them here in Canada. But if they arrive early maybe I can do some substituting in the last week of the Nov rotation (which looks like an insane killer week) so the new workouts would be a good excuse to replace the week.;)

Kim, DOn't feel bad about the half hearted attempt...By the time I got to LIC I was just worn out. I wasn't sure if the warm up was attached to that upper body work out and when it was I was surprised how much trouble I was having lifting my legs for the 8in step. I think this was a fatiguing week with all the leg work so we probably are feeling just about how we should be at this point.
I live in a small town between 2 larger ones. The bigger of the 2 is about 30 min. We have a grocery store here but it really doesn't have a lot of the things I like to use. It caters to the majority and the majority around here is not too into anything healthy. So anything out of the "ordinary" I would have to go into town. Things are really growing here though...When I was growing up we only had one red light and a dairy queen. Now there are a whole host of businesses and they are building a new high school and a new elementary. So although the population sign says 3000 something (in the city limits) there is actually a lot more people in this area. hahaha All that explanation from you asking how far town was...Sorry bout that:eek:

As far as the workout room goes, it used to be DH's band practice room a hundred yrs ago before he got a separate building for all his equipment. It has been in need of painting or something for all this time and I just put posters up on the walls and tried to ignore it. So now I am going to paint and probably put 4 or 5 ft tall "wainscoat" sp? of knotty pine to tie in with the rest of the house. I have some mirrors that I could hang then. So I am working on prepping today.

Cendrine-I am thinking about trying some of your subs in my infamous chewy chocolate chip recipe...When I get around to that I will let you know how it goes. I am not sure if I can find sucanat unless I go to the natural food store so it depends on that. It is about 45 min from here.
