(=:~~~>STS 6 month alumin<~~~:=)

Okay, I can't believe that it's another day without a workout! I love these weekends away but the few evenings I'm home there is so much catch up to do. Super busy day at work. Then some errands on the way home. Off to see the house after dinner. Then I had to get to the garden as it's more weeds than vegetables. I'm still getting lots of yummy veggies. Then I had a number of phone messages, emails to answer from the weekend just seems to be alot of things happening with friends so people needing to chat. I swear next week I'm starting the September rotation whatever it is and doing the whole thing!!

Cendrine The IKEA clothes stand sounds like a great idea. Dressup is so much fun! We saw lots of great things at IKEA but were limited by how much we could bring back. They are building an IKEA in the city where I live so soon I can buy more.
AG has baby dolls that your dd would probably love! Is there an AG store close to you?? Hope your back is okay!!

Jo Thanks for sharing the pictures! What a beautiful place! How did the ultrasound go??

Rachael Did you get the bedroom floor done? I would be like you, itchy to get everything back in place. This waiting for the house to be done drives me crazy because I want to start organizing everything.

This will be a quick post. An hour before I went for my ultrasound I got hit with a migraine :(. So I had to come directly home from the lab and go directly to bed...so I've been in bed since 12:30. Since I couldn't have anything to eat or drink since last night I'm wondering if being dehydrated or the lack of my coffee triggered it. Either way, it's been a miserable day.

Regarding the ultrasound, I have gallstones. My Dr was out today so a different Dr called to give me my results. I was in so much pain (headache pain) though I can't remember everything he said to me, but bottomline they are sending me to a specialist and it could mean I may have to have my gall bladder out. (I don't know what else they do for gallstones - what do they do Kim?) Someone is supposed to call me and set up my appt as they want to see me this week.

Anyway, I'm going back to bed but just wanted to check in with you guys.

Oh Jo, That's terrible! Maybe you are right...the headache being caused by that combination. Maybe the stress of the ultrasound too. I hope the headache is gone today that way maybe you can do a little research and get some answers about treatment.

We got the mattress back in the bedroom but we had to wait till today to set the entire room back. The bed frame is one of those white cedar log frames and it is really heavy so we wanted to make sure the floor was good and set up. It was still nice to be able to sleep in the bedroom and walk through the dining room without having to go around a big mattress in the floor:rolleyes:.
I guess this is why DH and I are not big "projectors"...The house being tore up is a real pain! I am lucky though to have a dh that will go through all this trouble for me. In fact, I am lucky for so many reasons so I should really quit complaining! LOL

Todays workout was S&H Bi's Tri's and abs. I feel like I won't be putting my arms above my head too much today:eek:...I am loving getting back into these harder workouts!

Cendrine-I bet dd is loving having all her dress up stuff out where she can pick and choose what she would like to wear! I was amazed the last time I went to the toy store and saw all the costumes they sell for little girls now. They can pretty much be anything they want!
I hope the tweak in your back is better today. It stinks when that happens from just an every day activity.

Kim-I was thinking I would do the September rotation too. I have done a blast from the past rotation now so I am ready for some of the new videos again.
I know it is is hard coming off of a trip and going right back into a weekly schedule. We always try and plan a trip and then have one day off when we get back to recupe a little. But we go far less than yall so yall are probably more seasoned at it than us!LOL

Jo-I hope today finds you better than yesterday. I know you will keep us posted on what is next.

OK off to shower and see what is on tap for the day.
TTYL

I'm so sorry to hear about your migraine, Jo! I hope you are better today! I always confuse kidney stones and gallbladder stones, so I can't remember what the treatment is for which, I do know my mom had one or the other done and had a poochy stomach for a while because of it. I think one of the stones can be dissolved by lazer? I may be wrong...

Rachel, I am doing slow and heavy in September if all goes well, looking forward to it. I can't believe we are even talking about September! I'm glad you got to put the bedroom back together today! Things are coming along nicely!

So the painters didn't do a good job on the door so they had to do it over... another hot day with the door wide open and no ac on! It was 97 yesterday at 4 when I ran an errand! It comes as such a shock when all of summer has been below 80! The fumigation killed off some of our plants in the yard and the grass is so brown I don't think it will recover.... We don't ever give it a lot of TLC, so maybe it just gave out because the soil is so rock hard.... I might take the opportunity and plant a more desert friendly garden since we have to do something....
I am sick of breathing in paint fumes, by the way. Can't wait for this part to be over....

How are you doing today, Kim? Probably still trying to catch up, huh?

Cendrine, it's crazy that all summer you have had it mild and the minute you have to leave your door open, it is blazing outside! Isn't it always the way.

Well one room back together. The bedroom is totally complete and everything has been cleaned and it feels very new and fresh in there. Just have to get the mattress pad out of the dryer and make the bed and all will be done in there. It is funny, it was the last room we did but the first one to look back to normal...I guess we really like our sleep, right:p

Hope all is going well for you today , Jo.
Kim , How was the house when you drove by yesterday?

TTYT

So then, when the doors could finally close and we were able to turn on the ac, guess what happened.... The power went out! Fortunately it is back on now, of course you figured that, otherwise I would not be typing this....LOL Anyway, luckily it only went out for an hour...

Oh goodness Jo! Just wanted you need gallstones! I sure hope you're feeling better. What a day you had! I think they usually try and break gallstones up by medicine (oral) and then if they are starting to cause obstructions they surgery is an option. Are they still causing you pain?

Rachael Maybe we can do the September rotation together??? It would be nice to have someone keep me on track! Enjoy sleeping in your nice fresh bedroom tonight!

Cendrine Isn't that ironic that the weather gets hot on the days that you can't use the air conditioning. They have been painting the offices at work this week so I understand about the paint fumes.

I ended up spending most of the evening at my sister's. The four adults sat and had a drink while the kids swam in her pool. Oh yes, then I left my kids there;) Came home and started packing (again!) Tomorrow right after work we are leaving for our last camping weekend. It's a 2 hour drive and the days are getting shorter so will have to hustle so we don't set up in the dark. It's a campground I haven't been to in years so looking forward to it.

Rachael, we drove by the house again today (it's close to my sister's). Things are sure moving now, the roof was half way done (framing not shingles) and we had stairs instead of ladders. At this stage there is something new every day but I know things will slow down again once they get to all the finishing work.

Probably won't have a chance to post tomorrow so wil be home Sunday. Have a great weekend!

Good Morning!

Well I am not exactly sure what is on the agenda today. I think DH might start finishing up all the trim in the MR. I am very excited about that because that is the final steps to the inside of that thing being done. I can not wait to take pics and show the final result. I think it is more of an entry than a MR. I am getting real excited about the decorating part of the whole thing. Even though I am not very good at it, I have vowed to take my time and start hunting things that I like and buying them when I see them. I am horrible about talking myself out of things that I think I do not need. Sometimes that is a good thing but not always.

This morning I did BM, the original. I am not sure if I have ever done this one before. I think I got the disk for Power Hour. Well to make a long story short, I had to lower my step height or I think I might have broken something! :p I had to pay a lot of attention to the screen and there was a lot of jumping around so I thought it would be safer (and easier:eek:) if I lowered it! All and all it was a really fun workout though so I am glad I finally got to do it.

Kim-I think it would be great to do the September rotation together!
I was going to ask if yall got to walk around the house while they are working on it. It depends on the builder here. If so, yall will still be able to see a good progression, I think.

Cendrine-Yuck, on the power outage. I have to admit. I had to smile a little because it just seems to always happen like that, doesn't it? LOL
I hope things are getting back to normal around there today!

Jo-Hope you are doing better!

Better go get the day going!
TTYL

Kim, have a great last camping weekend! I can't believe the days are already getting shorter for you guys! I suppose they do everywhere, I just don't notice it....LOL!
We can still smell the fumes but at least now that the painters have left, it's going to wear off a little more each day. We put the hammock back on the porch and ds did his reading in it and I did some down time in it too. It's nice to have it back out and no workers walking all over the place. Ahhh Peace and Quiet!

Rachel, i know you will have fun decorating your MR! I support you in taking your time, I can get the same way where I just have trouble knowing what I really need.... Now we are going to be looking at plants, that should take a while.... We had a big eucalyptus tree blown over a few years back and I decided I would really like to either put a fig or avocado tree there in it's place now that the roots have dissolved... Then the vine-plants on the porch that died I would like to replace with Morning Glories, but I don't know if they would like the environnment. So I have a couple of ideas but much more needs to be done. Several plants didn't make it...

Jo, I hope you are recovering ok today! And I hope you can get the stones taken care of without surgery! Have you felt good enough today to work out?

I did 4ds bis/tris and legs minus the cardio. It was nice, I like the 4ds seires, have I said that enough yet...LOL! My back seems to be doing ok after the weird thing I did to it a few days ago...:)

I HATE HEADACHES! This one was a doozy! I always feel like they have robbed me days of my life! I thought I was on the mend after I posted Tuesday night. I went back to bed and then woke up at 2:00 a.m. and it was raging! I had to have DH get me an icepack...my migraine medicine wasn't working on this headache. So then I was in bed all day yesterday and partly this morning. Got up and went to work around noon but have been off a notch all day - partly cause I haven't had enough to eat and partly because I haven't had enough sleep and partly because this is all just pissing me off! (me, me, me....blah blah blah!) So if you'll forgive me, I'm going to go fix myself a salad and then I'll come back and try and get caught up with you guys. UGGHHHHH!!! I'll say buh-bye to this headache episode!

But other than that, I'm feeling fine now! :D Oh, Rachel, I meant to tell you I saw in an article the other day that chillax was added to the dictionary! Since I first heard it from you I thought you'd like that! It's an official word! Go figure!

Kim, I haven't heard back from anyone from the specialist office yet (maybe they forgot about me!) so I hope they try something other than surgery first! Yes, it hurts every swallow, every bite, but not horrible pain like others experience - it's uncomfortable. Then I have another pain that is constant whether I'm eating or not. They both feel like indigestion. I'm managing but it is zapping my energy a little and makes me not want to eat (ohhh but I'm eating! :D). Hope you have a great time on your trip! So are kids back in school next week? Kids around here start on Wednesday. Gosh it must be so fun see your house come together! Just wait until they start installing things with COLOR!!!

Cendrine, glad you back is okay! So do you like 4DS? :p I think that is such a great series! Yeah and no working out again because of my head. This stone thing isn't keeping me from working out...just the headache! Tonight should have been resort night but I needed to stay at work a little longer. I got a chuckle out of your paint and lights out escapade! LOL! It figures doesn't it? 97 degrees? Holy cow! It's 58 here today! Great summer weather! So are you happy with the door after they painted it twice?

Rachel, you guys are just powering through that house aren't you? Sounds like you have gotten tons done! So do you have a theme in mind for your MR? Are you wanting it to look woodsy or countryish...what's your idea? I can't wait for you to give us a looksee! That original BM really grabs you from the get-go doesn't it? It's a doozy! And it moves FAST!

Last thing. So the other reason I missed spinning tonight was I had to login for an orientation for my next classes. My classes start Monday and I have two! (Yikes! Wish me luck!) Anyway, they are both online so this orientation covered all the resources that are available to you, what to do if you need technical support, etc. They even have an online library! I'll have to check that out. My books are electronic too and they have a special reading tool which allows you to highlight, etc. It's pretty cool. I've already downloaded my books. So I'm excited to start my next session! Alright you've probably read enough rambling from me. I will be up working out again tomorrow!

Jo, I don't think we can get enough...in fact when you are not in for a while we miss you!;)

It's gonna be a quickie for me. I have my yearly this morning and fully intended to get up an hr earlier to get my workout in but that just did not happen! I am really gonna have a tough time getting up at 4 when that time comes around again! (but I will get used to it)
I have vowed to myself to come home and no matter what , get it done...I was looking forward to it anyway...S&H Legs and shoulders!

DH did trim the windows yesterday and they look so great. He made the window seals nice and big so I will be able to put stuff on them!

I will come back later and really let yall have a full report.

Have a great day!

TM walk for me today. Nothing special, just cardio, I guess...

Jo, I'm glad your symptoms are manageable! Or you are a tough cookie! What are your two classes about this time? I love the highlight options and online library, that sounds fun! Have a great workout tomorrow! I'm glad the migraine is good and gone now.
The door: it's funny, it seems these days, anything you do yourself looks better than if you pay someone.... LOL! I think I could have done a better job, but then I was raised by a perfectionist father, so I see every little thing... But I don't care, I'd rather have a non perfect door than have to do it myself! I don't care enough....LOL! But the second round was an improvement from the first!

Rachel, how fun that you get to have space to put things in the windows! I love that! Our windows aren't big enough for that. I'm sure you'll do just fine getting back to your 4am wake up when the time comes. Did you come home and do S&H?

Off to get groceries...

I finally got an appt to see the gastro Dr but can't get in until the 7th. I guess that's okay. I'll definitely be sticking to my fish, fruits and vegetables....here's why. Today was our "Final Friday" at work. We have that the last Friday of every month - it's a little lunch party that's catered. Anyway, they had this beef, german potato salad and then lots of vegetables. I just wanted to taste the beef and potato salad and oh my goodness did that ever HURT! I had two little bites (one of each) and I was in pain! So, I stuck to snap peas, apple, etc. (my usual) and I was back to manageable pain. Turns out there's several people here who are without gallbladders and they say meat and fat is the worst! LOL! Well, I won't miss that stuff since I don't usually eat it anyway.

Rachel, how did your appt go? S&H Shoulders is one of my very favorites of all of Cathe's shoulder workouts. Did you get that done? Nice on the windows! So how long before you start your next job and have to get back to your 4:00 routine? I've been thinking I've been sleeping way too late and I need to start getting up by 7:00 again (shameful isn't it? LOL!)

Cendrine, oh boy, your father and my DH! Perfectionist! We actually had a guy turn down finishing trim in our house because he saw DH's handiwork and said he knew he couldn't meet his standards! LOL! Talk about perfectionist! But I'm with you, someone else can do it! LOL!

Kim, hope you're having fun!

Well golly, I forgot to tell you guys that GF hit 101 lbs lost today! She's been stuck between 94-98 lbs lost the last couple of months. Last Friday she was at 98 and suddenly today broke free and crossed the triple digits!!!! I'm so proud of her! So she is now 16 lbs to goal! Also, she's been doing lots of races - run about 5 or so 5k's, did her first 10k 2 weeks ago and is signed up for a half marathon on labor day. Isn't that just AWESOME? She was so excited as she went to a bachelorette party Saturday and had to buy a new outfit and it was a size 5! She was a 22 when this all began. Nice way to start the weekend huh?

Good Morning!

Jo-That is so impressive! I bet your GF is on top of the world!
That really stinks on the GB front, but at least you kind of know what to avoid. Is it effecting your workouts at all? Work is kind of up in the air right now. We know this winter is looking slim but we prepare for these sorts of things so we will be alright. A lot of people that are in our profession really don't think about the future so when times like these hit it puts them in a real bind.
On the deco of the MR...Well I am a real hodge podge person that is for sure, but about 5 yrs ago DH and I found these great Indian doors at a flea market. We bought them and had not known what to do with them since then. So we are making those like shudders for the first window you see when you walk through the door and then going from there. They are the coolest thing I have ever splurged on and I am so excited to get to use them now!
Oh and for the Dr appt...Awkward as normal , of course , but I am good for another yr.

Cendrine-At least you are doing the research before just jumping into the buying of all the plants. When you get done with that project, you will have to post pics too. WHen I was growing up, the only thing I wanted was decent grass. Our yard was terrible. That is the only thing that I have ever accomplished to grow. We are lucky that our yd. gets alot of shade so it does not burn up the grass as quickly as some of the other people that live on our road.

Oh yes and yall will be proud to know that I did come home and get S&H done! That rarely happens (that I workout after my morning window). Now today is supposed to be a rest day and then KPC tomorrow. Normally I do not workout on Sunday but we were up way late last night and I am still groggy so I might give it a go.

MR is moving along. More trim today and it should be done. Then the rest of the little odds and ends through out the house that need attention. i.e. trim that was removed during the flooring , things of that nature.

OK I am off to peel DH out of bed before it is too hot!
TTYL

Yahooo!!!! Happy Saturday! Girls, I did Drill Max today! The whole thing! It's been so long since I did the original workout I forgot how fun it is! I'm way more familiar with all the premixes! Anyway, it was good. I had to modify some because of my shoulder (like no dive bomber pushups for me!) but I'd say I did 90% as is (well, as best I can! :D). Oh, and also because of my shoulder I stuck with lighter weights. But that's okay, it was FUN!

Rachel, good job on getting S&H done yesterday! Aren't you glad you did that? Oh, and the Indian doors some intriguing! Can't wait to see pictures of those!

Cendrine, I forgot to respond about my classes. I have pyschology and a data analysis class. The data class should be easy for me since I'm a software engineer by trade but haven't been hands-on for several years. (Hope I don't eat my words!)

So today I've got to get laundry going and then start reading my books to get a jump on the first week! I'm stoked!

TTYL! Happy Saturday everyone! :D;):p:cool::D

Jo, you sound so energetic today! High fives on the drill max! I'm always feeling especially accomplished when I do that one, of course it's been a good while since I have done it last.... I hope you enjoy both your classes. I always enjoyes psychology, I hope you'll love it too! Fascinating subject! Amazing continuing results for your GF. She must be pretty petite, but so cool to be a size 5! What an amazing accomplishment! Qudos to you for cheerleading and mentoring her there!

I was going to do high step challenge weights only but I have a super busy day today, so I'm going to try to do it tomorrow. I guess, Rachel, you and me will be working out on our typical rest day...LOL
I have no idea what indian doors are, so I can't wait to see what they are too! And echoing Jo, nice work doing your workout when you came home!
I've had to talk myself into the last couple of cardios and was so glad too, when I did!

Whoo!

You know those cleans that your house only gets like once in a blue moon?....That is what I have been doing all day!
I started in my bathroom and I was only gonna give it a normal scrub but something got into me and I just got every nook and cranny. I even cleaned out the closet that has all of our first aid things, hair things, makeup extras and so on and so forth!...It took a good 2 hrs. Then I went on into the laundry room and gave it the same treatment. On to the kitchen from there. I even clean the inside of the oven. I am not sure if I have even really done that before. You know I have only used the self clean thingy! Then it was on to the spare bathroom. Now I am at a halt because now are all the parts of the house that are effected still by the work going on around here. It felt really good to get in there and really clean all the things that kind of get over looked normally though! To actually leave the rooms and know they are totally clean is a great feeling!:D

Jo-Way to go on DM...That one always puts me in a great mood too if all goes well!:D It sounds like it did go great for you today!

Cendrine-Knowing that you are going to be working out tomorrow will super motivate me to get mine done! Hopefully the same will be for you too. I know I too will be glad when I get that work out done!

I know yall are going to love the doors like I do. I would try to describe them but a picture will be better.

Have a great night...I am going for a greatly deserved shower!:p
