Strivectin?

I tried it. It's actually an anti-cellulite cream but someone decided it makes wrinkles go away. It did nothing for me--in fact, it's very thin & my skin felt really dry if I didn't use a different moisturizer.

I was wondering that same thing about Lift Visage. I got a free sample and haven't noticed any difference. Actually, I don't have a problem with wrinkels (except on my forehead from constantly raising my eyebrows when someone says something dumb), my problem is that I'm going to have the droopy jowels. I can see them starting just slightly...I'm going to look like Droopy Dog.

I have those jowls a startin' (well, they've been 'Starting" for a while now;-) ) and I HATE them!
I don't have many wrinkles at all, from avoiding the sun, but marionette lines and jowls are another problem (anyone have a cure for gravity?)

I do. It's called an excellent cosmetic surgeon. :p

You know what my problem is? Smokers wrinkles. You want to talk about something ugly........well, it seems 20 years of smoking 1-2 packs a day really takes its toll on your looks. I quit 2 years ago & I thought the damage was done, but my dr. is telling me there's this laser resurfacing thing that's fairly inexpensive and will get rid of them permanently. Hmmmmmm............

I agree with Maximus - cosmetic surgury is one of the solutions to wrinkles along with not smoking, sun baking, frowning, being surprised, and if you have laughter lines..................STOP IT NOW!!!!..............geez lifes a bi*******h

My friend had some botox done recently and spent a few $$$$$, but tell you the true, I could hardly notice the difference.
Her surgen said that she had "come a bit late" for the botox to have any dramatic effect, and she should really think about EXTRA procedures!!

Apparently botox works alot better in your late twenties and early thirties, before the wrinkles are really deep and ingrained, otherwise your not going to get a BIG difference without MORE cosmetic procedures.

Well, she told him that at 42years old, she could live with the wrinkles abit longer and wasnt quiet ready to surcumm to any MAJOR at this age. After all, its not as if she wants a "starring role in a Hollywood movie" or anything.

Ive got the "laughter line" wrinkles at the corner of my eyes. Even when Im not laughing, they are here to stay. And I am a sucker for ANY "anti aging" cream although I know deep, deep, deep down in my heart, Im wasting money, and they may give me "false promises", I feel somehow better using them.

Go figure!

I am finding that good ol' Retin-A seems to keep wrinkles at bay! (I'm a poet and didn't know it :D )

Seriously, my dermatologist has me use it for adult acne but recommends I stay on it long term. I am 39 and don't have any wrinkles. Most people think I'm in my 20's (bless them). I used to be a sun worshiper but now I wear sun block every single day and no more tanning period. I think Retin-A might have something to do with it. I know it helps to rebuild collagen and it's less expensive than botox. You might want to ask your dermatologist about it.

I tried the Strivectin. It was originally formulated for stretch marks (not cellulite) & apparently it does help if you're careful to apply it as advised. It helped mine quite a bit.
However, on the face I couldn't see any difference at all. My sister, who worships the sun, says it made a huge difference in her facial skin & I have to admit she looks better than she did 6 months ago.
So go figure.

Ruth:)

DB1...I'm with you and the Retin A..I have used it for about 15 years for adult acne. I have alot of compliments on my skin...:)...Carole
