Still sore - Should I work out?

If I am still sore from a work out after taking a day off inbetween, is it okay to work that muscle group again or do I need to wait till I am no longer sore? Thanks!
 
in my opinion, I would do another body part. I would probobly work the sore muscle group again the following day ( a 2 day rest) The sore group always felt better to me if I worked it again, but this is me, you know your body. If I wake up and feel too tired, i give myself a day of rest. Good luck, like Cathe says, "listen to your body"... Kay
 
Not Cathe, but...I would give yourself at least 48 hours in between working the same muscle groups to allow your muscles time to heal. If you are still really sore, try taking another day off from that body part and also take a nice warm bath. If you are a little sore, then perhaps you can do a lighter workout.
