Step Benches

Happy Holidays Everyone,
I am new to the forum---you are definitely an educated crowd as Cathe says!
I have been using the Original Step for years for step and as a weight bench. But with our house addition, we are moving my weight stuff to another room that does not have an aerobic friendly floor, so I need another cardio step. You all are aware of the painful getting out and storing that step and its risers(I love that thing, but it's a pain to move!). It is not feasable with our space to leave it out all the time except for now in this new area. So ok, get to the question, already, right? Tell me gang, where can I buy a Reebok step at the most reasonable cost for Cathe's step videos( I am selling off all my others(Firm, Gin Miller, etc.- I just don't enjoy them anymore after a year of Cathe---not even for variety, she has enough to keep me interested).
I saw a recent post on Reebok vs. The Step which was very helpful, but I do like the compactness of the Reebok for frequent taking in and out of the closet. I saw it at a Sporting Goods Store for $79, but some lady came in and bought all of them when I returned to check it out again!! The Reebok website now has some 5-position version, but I like their old one better; I wonder if it's going to be discontinued.
Lastly, where can we find the new Step in Cathe's S/H series?
Thanks in advance; sorry I rambled on. Take care!

Sportsauthority.com has the Reebok Step for $79.99 (plus shipping).

Models for the newer one

Models Sporting Goods sells the new version from S&H but it's not the greatest for stepping, unless you only ever want the 5 1/2" height. I have seen it online too..but some places are over charging. I wouldn't pay more than $79...if you can avoid it.

Another idea for the existing one and how to keep it all together for getting it in and out. Try some of that heavy duty velcrow tape. It has very strong adhesive and it's narrow enough for placement along areas of the risers and topper where they all touch and sit on one another. If you use four little areas around the risers..and not too much, you should still be able to "rip" them apart when you want to reassemble it to a different height..but also keep it secured and together for quick and easy movement. Just a thought;-).

I have all three steps. I love how I can lug the reebok to fitness conventions and have the one piece..but I always step on my club step at home and wouldn't trade it in for any of them.

China,

You're welcome. Let us know the final outcome...:)

Nancy C,

The velcro is a great idea!

Nope, I'm not from Ohio

I live in upstate NY. Just a football fan and remember all the hubbub when Modell moved the Browns out.
