I didn't know if you'd read the other post again and I had a question. The "rotation" you mentioned in my "need help" post has 2 days of upper body and 1 day of lower body. It also has 1 circuit which I think usually works both. I LOVE working lower body so I'm thinking I could switch the uppers for lowers. Also, do you do it that way because you like doing one area per day as opposed to a full body workout a couple of times per week?

Thanks

Kim

Hi Kim! I was actually just looking for your previous post to see if you responded and came across this post first.

You could definetly switch uppers for lowers if that's what you like working most. I have two days of upper because my lower half is pretty solid and I'm looking to build my upper body.

I do like doing separate upper and lower body workouts as opposed to full body workouts a couple of times a week because I just feel like I put more into it that way. I usually go heavy on the two days of upper and one day of lower. Than I go a little lighter for weights on the circuit workout.

Also, of the two upper body days, I will only work chest once. My chest is getting very defined and I'm not sure if I like that or not so I cut back to see if working it one day a week will maintain it.

I had to play around with this for about a month or so before I figured out what worked for me. Then I just tweak it as I go.

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice. I'm looking to start something new tomorrow and think I will use your schedule and just switch to 2 days of lower body. I wanted to make sure I could add in a circuit because I didn't realize I would LOVE Bootcamp so much. Thanks again!

Glad I could help! I hope it works for you.

I love Bootcamp as well. Circuit workouts are alot of fun for me. I look forward to Sundays!!

Take care.
