Starting up again...

I've been terrible at exercising for the past 3 months because of lack of time and motivation. And there was a death in the family which meant neighbors bringing cakes and pies 24-7.

But now, I want to start up again. I've gained about 10 pounds. I'm not huge or anything (since I'm still in my 20s, I guess I can handle it), but I've definately lost lots of muscle - no more firm thighs :(

I need some sort of program or schedule to do to get me going. I used to work out a lot so I think I just need a nudge to get going again. I have most Cathe cardio tapes and all the strength ones (incl. Bodymax). I also have a gym membership starting soon where there's cardio and spinning classes. Thanks for any help! I know Cathe's understandably busy!

sorry I can't be of much help, but i hope you don't mind my replying. I'm in the same boat--off schedule for several months for a variety of reasons (though none seem good enough when I think about it). Sorry to hear about the death in your family--an understandably valid reason.
Mind if I jump on the bandwagon and ask for advice, too? Like you , I have most all of Cathe's cardio tapes and all strength as well.

Hi You Two and WELCOME BACK!!

Sounds to me like you both have made the most important decision on your own--Just the fact that you are ready to start back is the key!! Just put those tapes on & get started. Once you see Cathe's smiling face and her unbelieveable energy, you WILL be motivated. I am a brand new fans (as of about 2 weeks ago) and I teach aerobics in my small town. I just needed something fresh & new to add to my workout and I am thoroughly HOOKED!! I LOVE the Cathe tapes and also the support you get on these forums from people like you!! Hang in there and GO PUT YOUR TAPES ON!!! Debbie
