Starting over...

Yep, I lost 20 lbs w/Cathe and was progressing towards my goal of 30 lbs lost but went back to work after being a SAHM (for 11 years) & I've gained it all back :(. My routine was working out after I dropped the kids off at school. During the summer I simply worked out at my regular time while the kids ate breakfast/t.v. - it was perfect. Then I started working at my kids elementary school as a special needs preschool aide. I couldn't work out at my normal time and I was so tired that I couldn't get up early & I couldn't do it at night... I cannot believe I did this to myself - 2 years of working out (w/Cathe) down the drain!

So now, I need to make this a priority! I need to get into a routine (to fit around my work schedule) that my body will adjust to and I'll stick with.

**My question: I saw a forum regarding daily check-ins and was wondering if there was a thread for those who have just started or one you all can suggest I jump on? Thanks so much!!!!

You can just find one and jump on in. You have to decide which one you want to shoot for you may want to go over and read what they have

Hi Amy;

I post on the daily check in to keep me motivated on working out - I too took a hiatus (roughly a year) from working out due to mourning & depression (lost my father to cancer and my loyal dog of 12yrs within 3 weeks of each other in summer 05) the check ins really help keep me on track on my commitment to fitness and gaining my body back.

Just find a group you feel comfy in and start posting :)
 
You may also want to re-eval your diet. I know where I work there are little treats laying around all over the place. The all day munching packs the pounds more than lack of exercise in my opinion.
