Starting my first Cathe rotation ever, lots of questions!

I have recently recovered from an injury and my doctor finally gave me the okay to do weights again for the first time in five months. I'm pretty much a Cathe newbie so I'm looking for info. I'm doing a 15 week Cathe rotation that is geared to beginners and should hopefully help me get most of my strength back. The first six weeks call for only Basic Step + Body Fusion, High Step Circuit -Beg/Int, Cardio Hits and Ab Hits.

I was wondering what this tubing is she refers to in the description and where I can get some?

I have a large Bollinger step and it looks like it may be bigger than the ones she uses in the Basic Step DVD. Is this going to be a problem?

Is the Minitopper really worth it? I must admit I'm very tempted.

Also, will I need a barbell for the following rotation?

First Three Weeks

RE: Starting my first Cathe rotation ever, lots of ques...

Hi JuneBug,

I thought I would answer a couple of your questions. You can buy those resistance bands and www.spriproducts.com and they also sell them at sporting goods stores.

I think the Bollinger Step will be fine for Cathe's step tapes.

I love my mini topper. I have a regular step for step aerobics. The Step Cathe uses in PUB and S&H and the mini topper. I love them all. The mini topper will be much easier to adjust than a regular size step for some of Cathe's workouts.

Your rotation looks great. Keep us posted on your results and getting your strength back.

Have a great day!!!

Sounds like you have part of the answer to my question. Are these routines all purchased separately? Or is this a set of some kind? Also, I have a normal step for aerobics, my problem is I don't want to purchase a bench step and a high step also. Are there any options to increase the height of my existing step? Then I could just get a bench step ( which one do you guys like )? Any advice on equipment ( bars, steps, etc ) would be great. All I have is 10,5,3 lb dumbells and the one aerobic step. What will I need. I am a true newbie to weights and steps, workouts in general. Thanks
